Yeah but your arguing that everyone just wants to be flying around in their own ships. Even in the real world, the Captain in the US Navy still has to treat patients, and develop protocols for other physicians. However, it may be more successful as a foundary mission.

I think PC games need an update. I prefer to actually moving around while playing a game than sitting in a chair for hours. I don't know what I feel with Xbox one seeing that it hasn't even come out yet, but PC games need to adapt a kinect type of style option.
