  • I'm looking forward to squadrons but that depends on their cd versus survival..as to support, they look powerful and beefy but again it comes down to cd versus survivability - personally I'm more attrition, cycling fast deploying pets but lets see what the normals can do
  • I have a question...is the jemmie carrier locked to jems only or does it have the master to use on all factions feature? Got enough zen for the kdf and Jem one, but the jem one only has use to me if theres that option that made the other ships so economical
  • I got to admit...it they tied an event to the end of Risa I think it'd be pretty awesome - your captain is hiding out on Risa following the SNAFU from last time; the current big bad sending a cloaked bop wolfpack to Risa to flush you out...
  • I am rather dissapointed the kdf don't get an equivalent set (honestly, some of those abilities are crazy good for an uncommon card) as I could do evil, unholy things with the waste disposal launcher on my kdf malon (plus that medic card is pretty good... 20% chance of a 2sec cd on all kit abilities on cd, on anyone in a…
  • I see what you did there - nice pun!
  • I meant centuries in terms of technology, going from near invincible borg cubes that require a combined fleet to take down to becoming instant space wreckage via a few torpedos Still, it was a fair point all the same
  • Personally I think transphasic torps should have 100% shield pen to justify their low damage - or if the pen is kept as is, the damage is increased to roughly the kinetic value of a plasma torp Another option I think would work is to think outside the box and revise them so they have a cd of tricobalts with similar damage…
  • Hmm..more information to know which enemy to introduce to the burny end of an industrial mining laser Time for J'mpok to take his seat on the barge of the dead...hopefully in the middle aisle flanked by a targ with massive flatulance that would give you Gowron eyes and a jackal mastiff with Rura Penthe breath
  • We've been asking for ages for options to spec loadouts - I'd give up and just go for the unhappy medium of going with specialisations that do both and stop specialising your specialisations :p
  • Turrets on a t5 science spamming vo'quv was how I used to roll in the past..its why to this day I want a turret fire at will ability for a phalanx interceptor type look, creating a wall of cannon bolts around the ship With the heavy turrets (if you can stand rainbow builds) due to rep you can easily load up a ship with…
  • You might want to allow some weak (low mark) projectile weapons as one of the robot modules only reacts off shots fired I run a few bot only builds in adv/elite tfos so it is more than possible for any profession to run a bot build (albeit with less options than an engie)
  • Had a laugh a few days ago in the event tfo Met a ship called the USS Event AFKer ...Well, they were true to their word
  • My wager is command or intel, with temporal a wide outsider. My gut says command as command suits carriers conceptually more (rally point for instance creating an aoe to heal pets) but intel would fit too, to a degree That said thrilled as I am to see a t6 Vo...what the heck is that thing... its like it was a kitbash of a…
  • That was the thing...the person in question was practically useless in pve let alone pvp offensively, relying on the traits/consoles and no skill in timing nor build, it was truely a display of how op invincibility/heal before death trait stacking could be if roughly tossed together (tbh the battles could have gone on nigh…
  • I dropped out when invincibility traits, powers became a thing (to be fair, this was in the era where invincibility had no cd)..that said my turning point was the Romulans, aka 'give the feds better bops than the kdf' where my disdain for pvp began to foment There was one guy/girl I knew personally (in sto terms) who…
  • Why not have two instance types - one day, one night Keeps all sides happy and takes into account the engines limitations - When you spawn in, you got to either a day or night instance, said instance marked in some way so you can go to the one you like
  • Whoever is in charge of the Federation currently, knowing Cryptic...
  • Bad idea - you are just enabling them as they will camp the rex in one instance, kill it then move to the next instance... that you've already begun capping, rewarding them by making their next camp/cap even faster Its like Qmas snowman - you complete it, flip to a low instance and get that reward too. Unlike that example…
  • Considering how Cryptic has reassigned properties of items in the past; its obviously not that hard to alter the owner property to account...That said I'm not a phaser user, but I can see why it should be account bound
  • Well, we already have an AFK faction in most events...
  • The Kor/T6 B'Rel looks pretty amazing in all the new skins (vorcha, ect) but the thing that makes me happiest... the various shield visuals now properly work with cloak so I can now have my beloved sci bop decked out in borg Also I love the changes made to Qo'nos space and the night setting on ground; it looks far more…
  • So...Star trek Family guy taking aim at the Superior Orville?
  • Insidious is what I'd call this. If it was zen, I'd have no issue with it but this is lobi - and what is the only constant way to get lobi? Lockboxes. To be honest my alarm bells were ringing with the 1000 lobi prize (but I simply put it down to maybe them offering a route to buy the store items without gambling) but…
  • Same...but instant resurrection (so you now have two instant revives; one a device and the other this), free use hypos and funky and powerful new attacks (I can so imagine using TRIBBLE Dastardly tactics like activating the temporal shift on a mob group; dropping a load of mines and such under where they were when twirling…
  • T7 Vo'quv please with skin options and four hangars :)
  • To be honest with the Fe'rang, its best really to focus on hull not shield - carry something to top its shields up where possible (as any shield facing mitigates compared to no shield) but devote yourself to hull healing - treat shields as ablated armor - only replace it when its too thin yo serve its role In my opinion,…
  • Indeed, I would have recommended the Space cathedral but I was trying to omit the old event ships as there was no reference to if they had them or not (if not, then the only option is phoenix boxes or, ugg...Mudd.) - If you do have it, the Fe'rang is a very nice carrier with powerful pets (to the point I think cryptic…
  • You'll be able to switch the moment you get access to a ship vendor, don't worry its quick and relatively painless then hit patrols (mastery xp bonus) to t6 the carrier fast (If I recall, it took me about an hour or so of argala play and quit before completion to master)
  • Simple answer - the Jem'hadar vanguard carrier - works for both factions (once your jemmie has mastered it) and is a pretty decent war machine with a 4/3 layout - its somewhat science tilted by default but it has a lt uni seat to help Another option for faction straddling is the Suliban Silik - 4/3 layout and is more tac…
  • If you want a lovely spammable option that doesn't need much in terms of spacebar mashing May I suggest energy torp(s), their set, three PWOs and the kentari missile (maybe the microtorpedo trait too)? Energy torps don't get the dreaded shield mitigation and with the kentari constantly pumping out missiles you'll be firing…
