I suppose I should have specified, this is not in PvP, but against NPC ships. I don't think I have sensor scramble available on my current crew, but avoiding and using torpedoes sounds do-able. Finished it in four minutes. When I spawned in ("Continue" from the Sector Map where I'd been reset after logging last time)... I reappeared RIGHT at the asteroid base, facing the Klingon ship. Ah, good tips, all. Thanks! When I logged off and back on it was an immediate thing, so the game probably DID think I had just lost connection and graciously put me back where I was. It's possible that when I zoned out to my ship, I started racing away from the asteroid in the wrong direction, back the way I'd come, and the Klingons were on the other side, heading the other way.... those metrion fields that look like enemies at a distance lured me in...
