No (but kinda yes, based on perception by the buyers/sellers) but people had an already existing supply to convert. Once they burned thru that supply, they have to get it thru the exchange. Once the sellers on the exchange realize there is increased demand for a finite supply, the price goes up. Think of it like the price…
Not that I wouldn't like up/down movement myself, but how are any of the reasons you yourself mentioned for not implementing this a load of bunk? If the license holder says no, you have no options. If the developer worries players would become disoriented, that seems like a valid (althou way too hand-holding-of-players)…
The Klingon doom-sayers have started their own version of this thread filled with the usual doomsayer material and crocodile tears. This thread may end up neglected. I'm not entirely sure there is enough doom to go around.
Hi. I'm one moer person. The KDF is getting content, a new tutorial, and starting at level 1. Please, tear your eyeballs out now. Go on, do it. I'll wait.
You can't explain the who of Bob Sheeple. You can only experience the evil that is Bob Sheeple. That Jerk. But Mirror Bob Sheeple is a prince of a guy.
deliver in the way of dominos bringing me a pizza....? or deliver in the way that a rusty nail gives me tetanus....? One of those is awesome. The other, not so much.
I'd rather do just about anything to avoid having to nail Janeway, salamder version or regular version. I bet even in salamander version she sounded like Katherine Hepburn. <shudder>
Hang on *checks episodes from Enterprise, Voyager, DS9, and TNG* Yeah, the trend of sexualizing certain female characters in Trek totally died out with the uniforms and outfits that cast members of TOS wore. Except for T'Pol, Seven of Nine, Kira, and to a lesser extent - Troi. Otherwise, you're completely correct. STO has…
If it is a FE series with Iconian/Tal Shiar tie-ins it needs to have one thing at some point in the series in order for it to be successful..... My toon needs to be able to kill Slamek. Preferably, it should be a stabbie death and his last words, right before he dies, should be "It's becoming too dark......"
Cryptic doesn't care if noobs crowd the elite queues. They want those guys getting the borg processor drops so they spend dilithium on rep gear. W Cryptics answer to the terrible elite PUGs has always been the same (and I agree with them): Don't like PUGs that suck? Roll with fleeties or form a private queue for an elite…
No, thank you. Don't get me wrong - you present a good analysis and I'm sure some people would love your proposed changes. I just don't think Cryptic (and probably most of the players?) want STO to become like EVE. From my own perspective as a casual gamer, I would never play any content where I might lose anything I had…
In all fairness, why would you hold his post to a standard you don't apply to your own posts? This is the interwebz after all. If you can keep assuming and posting happy-happy things about Cryptic, some other forum guy can assume Doom-Crying things about other developers, right? And, for the record, those are some pretty…
Watch the season 6 episode of DS9 called "Waltz" if I remember the name correctly. You get to see Dukat having duo moments with: Wayoun Damar Kira Sisko Granted, three of the four are figments of Dukats imagination, but it is a really good episode and great examples of two characters going at each other.
