First Federation aren't energy beings.[/quote] Do we know that for certain? We saw Balok for a few minutes in one episode. That could have been a projection or one of the energy beings taken a humanoid form.

When I saw the word "Gestalt", my first thought was of The First Federation because the only ship we've seen of theirs, in The Corbomite Maneuver, was made up of what looks like a bunch of balls. And The First Federation home world recently appeared on the Alpha Quadrant map.

I can get to my character select screen, then I select a character but after that my game never loads due to server disconnects. I've been trying to get on for over an hour and no luck. I had the same problem yesterday.
