Pretty much this. I'm currently having a broke/cheap time and Kaspersky just expired, so I'm going with AdblockPlus and Flashblock in Firefox, then a combo of Comodo Firewall and Avira. Avira has a rather annoying ad, but I made it go away using Local Security Policy.

Agreed. I played CoH/V when it was still subbed based, and there was no shortage of bozos/moochers. PUGs are the devil, sub or F2P.

I run a single DBB mixed in with my DHCs/Turrets. I went "gold for a month" and got the extra slots, even on already leveled characters. The only thing I didn't get retroactively was the respec tokens.

Turning down bloom helps with the retina-burning aspect, but may or may not help FPS.

Yeah, going via academy works. At least it has for me, so far. Academy also works for when the shipyard keeps sending you to the shipyard instead of First City.

Yeah, it's usually under "Operations". I usually run across it at random in Cardassian space (I'm working that sector for the Jevonite/Incense/Tulaberries/Lockets chains, plus the "Negotiate Additional Delivery" that gives me Strange Alien Artifacts).

Make it work like the two weapons -- where you switch back and forth "on the fly", instead of having to drag from inventory to switch. There's no reason they should have to stack stats. Depends on the plant. Of the flower-bearing plants -- some have two separate genders, some are "hermaphroditic" (both genders in one plant). Insects are all gendered. In the case of ants and bees, the workers are sterile females.

Ground outdoor exploration maps are bug-ridden with enemies stuck inside buildings or the ground, and littered with "holes" you and/or your boffs fall into.
