How about moving the new leveling ships from tier 6 to tier 1? I bought the Shran Class so any new toons would have a ship to take them from level 4 (after the tutorial) to level 65. Why are these new "leveling ships" only available at level 50?

It was a brand new character, I tried TOS first and could've claimed the Walker class (Discovery era) cruiser. The Shran class was in Tier 6. Not selectable. Just want to comment that the Shran DOES have Raider Flanking, and that it's the sexiest little ship I've flown since the Pioneer Class came out! I'd buy the Raider thing but, that thing's FUGLY AS HELL!

I'll be buying the Shran, I do hope that it has raider flanking though, Pilot maneuvers aren't enough to compensate for the lack of the 3rd Aft or 5th Forward weapon slot. Well the votes are in and it's a Landslide. Nobody likes the new bundle. It's not an "I hate Discovery" thing either. I, personally like the Shran, but I'm not buying the pack to get it. Well, that's part of my theory scuppered! I thought the Cardenas Class would be the Battle cruiser. Looks like it might be the Cardenas Class for the cruiser then, I'm still guessing the Engle for Escort and Shepard for Science though

But a purple MKII dual Beam Bank plus 2 MKII Beam Arrays and a torp up front with another 2 beam banks and a torp in the rear ark will make a serious difference at Lieutenant rank missions! That's a lot of fire power for a Tier 1 ship.
