I also have done 3 characters through the tutorial and cannot progress past Take the Helm. Also could do Tour ESD and complete it, but Take the Helm will not complete. Dyson ground battlezone. The old tau dewa patrols should be doable. If you park right above the first mob in those patrols you can reach all the mobs that spawn without moving. You could also try reprogramming movement to the arrows or numberpad temporarily and reset once un-gimped.

Tribbles breed on the hour every hour of play time. Type /played. Look at the yellow text for your play time. When that reaches the next hour tribbles will breed. Have only the food you want in place with the tribble so it has no option to eat anything else. That should be it.

I joined this fleet a few years ago when I was new to the game. The amount of info these guys have on pretty much every aspect of the game is astounding. Very helpful group, I was lucky to find them.
