Nope. The admirality system is just one more incentive to buy more ships. You know what ? Forget it. Not going to buy ships which will be only good for ship doffing once we get the great T7 item reset.
I'm kinda fond of the Vor'cha. Just, sleek, manacing, built for war. Wonderfull ship. Plus Defiant, for the same reasons. On the other end of the skale: most crytic designs. Worst of them all: the Klingon command cruisers. Someone wanted to create really ugly ships. Congrats, they are ugly ! Even uglier than the Imperial…
-there is no Starfleet feeling playing fed side, except the "clever" option in the Breen daylie mission. (I totally stopped playing blue side now, it just makes no sense) -getting told to fix TRIBBLE for Romulans/Talaxians/Whateverians. I'm the captain of a Klingon/Romulan warship, not your TRIBBLE plumber ! There are…
The Javelin is TRIBBLE. It is so so as finisher. 3 sec animation to get into siege, then charging it while beeing a week, easy to hit target. Then the free beam overload: another 3 sec animation, since every shot will automaticly drop you out of siege. And make no mistake, it is nothing but a beam overload (even triggers…
Seriously, whats your problem ? There are a people with Nausicaan chars, getting finally a proper ride. Many people asked for a T6 Guramba, even more for more KDF minor ships. The ship itself is TRIBBLE imho (spool up time and siege mode only for a free beam overload ?). But whatever, many people will be happy.
Season 6. While I enjoyed having Romulans and the storyline missions were good to some extend, season 7 brought a lot of farming, Epoohs, Scimitars, SRO's, Tovan Khev and all that TRIBBLE.
QFT. There are of course people who like the face roll option. Did it make sense to select a Reman design, built in secrecy and destroyed on it's first mission as the flagship of the newly formed Romulan republic ? Hardly, but hey, who needs balance if this pay to win pos sells like hot cake ?
I'd like some ships which are different to the ones we had before. Like a combat ship for Gorn (Tuatara or Balaur) a nimble escort (interceptor) for Orions and maybe a droneboat for Nausicaans.
For me it's the T6 Vor'cha, or better said T6 Tor'kaht. All I really want is 5 forward guns for it. I would prefer pilot hybrid station, but in the end I don't really care as long as I get 5 forward weapons and they leave the rest of the ship as it is. Powerslides ftw.
Strange discussion. Next in line: which Enterprise is the most iconic one ? Many canon Klingon ships (K'T'inga, B'rel and the Vor'cha) have one thing in common: still no T6 version available. I want all of them asap.
Story Elements ? They are all the same now ?! It would be nice to experience the story from differing points of view, but all the new content is clearly written from Fed perspective only.
Technically I have tac/eng/sci for each faction, but I stopped playing Fed. No way I'm going to re-buy the Kumaris for my Andorian. (if there are ever T6 versions of it, or the Galor of my fed eng for that matter) My mainchar is my Klingon tac, still flying the T5U Tor'kaht and T5U B'rel. All 3 Romulans are KDF aligned.
Holy wall of text ! The Negh'var, Galaxy and D'Deridex where the flagships of their respective fleets during the 2370's. They are very similar ships, and as such it made sense to release them as bundle. Since I don't have a timeship, I can't reliably say what season 11 will bring. But even if it is a Raptor, and not the T6…
I don't really regret getting any of my ships. Closest to it its probably the Kumari 3-pack. This ship is what brought me to STO. Reading it was about to get released. Took then 2 years to hit the server. I didn't really like the reskin, nor did I like the boff layout of them. I was praying the Kumari would turn out to be…
Nope, I don't like the flagships. Only the Scimitar is canon, and it's the very symbol of whats wrong with this game and its biased devs. Plus, it's a Reman design and all my republic chars are Romulans. Oh, and I already bought the pack that contains the true flagships. D'Deridex, Galaxy and Negh'var. Too bad even the D'D…
True, there is no penalty for rejoining the queue. However, since I do advanced/elite STF only with fleetmates that doesn't really help me. I lose my marks for the day and what's even worse my fleetmates probably won't get the optional. Was this meant as some kind of anti-afk feature or what is it good for ?
brown nosing much ? The netcode has never been a strong point of STO, but was tolerable. As long as the dc wasn't right at the moment of the bosskill, one could always log back in and continue the fight. But this new "feature" prevents this. Creating lots of frustration as you may have guessed. I don't like this, therefore…
Well, the Mogh is the go to boat when it comes to beam spam. Not my cup of tea. Of course I could switch permanently to the Mat'Ha, which is an excellent ship but that's not really my digital me. The Tor'kaht was perfection. I quickly learned to love the boff layout, the drifting and the Vor'cha hull was always one of my…
Nope, there is no hardpoint for the main disruptor cannon. There is one below the disruptor section, and there is one on top of the bridge. They are exclusively for single cannons. Then there are the two hardpoints on the fork, where the secondary disruptors should be located. Ingame single beams use those. The mid wing…
