I already have 9 chars, all 3 careers for each faction. I don't have the time to play all my current chars porperly, creating a new char isn't exactly what I would like to do.
Warthunder is missing. Voted for eve. Constant updates, including the game engine. Immersion is good, great story, epic trailers for every big update. The moment a fleet drops out of warp and engages another fleet...
Same here. Aehlal is one of the few Cryptic designs I like. A good mix of Mogai and D'Deridex design features. Unfortunately it's layout is clearly optimized for beam spam instead of alpha strike. But back to the Vor'cha: The usual T6 treatment is to upgrade one Lt to LtCmdr. In case of the Tor'kaht this would mean either…
I don't really expect it. None of the re-released T6 ships got it. But then again, the Vor'cha is imho the better platform for forward facing weaponry. Mogh can't do those powerslides to keep the nose pointed in the right direction. The Tor'kaht on the other hand... Or to put it this way: 5/3 on the Mogh is a gimmick, on a…
Some time has passed and there is still no T6 Vor'cha/Tor'kaht. Same on fed side: no Sovereign yet. Both of them + say the Ha'feh would make a nice triple pack. (Valdore would have made more sense, but... ) Please make them the first pilot cruisers ! (Sovy even had a stick...)
I just saw one Oddy in orbit over Andoria. And at release day, 1 or 2 Borts in Qonos orbit. Plus the usual Scimitard spam. Personally, I see no reason to buy ugly space whales or Reman doomsday weapons.
That would depend quite alot on the quality of the traits, wouldn't you think ? I would really like to have put some Klingons on the bridge of my BoP, instead of Nausicaans and Roms. Two space and ground traits, just like the Romulans/Remans get. Same on fed side. My fed tac is Andorian, and I definately would love to get…
Yes, a single ship and it was destroyed in the first Chintoka battle. All the Defiant class ships that came after it didn't have a cloak. With that out of the way:
That's totally fine. I don't really want the ugly Nandi and whatever its name Breen carrier. But what about the ship trait ? They are actually a big deal for people trying their hand with space magic and stupid carrier pets.
Yep, ship is meant for STF's, idea was to take advantage of the combined flow cap bonus from both sets, and combine that with another hard hitting torp (neutronic torpedo) and some mines. Both torps benefit from quantum damage consoles. Basically drop a grav well, hit the biggest baddest target with a tachyon beam and then…
They just fill the slots. Main armament will be the Neutronium and Quantum phase torp. Now that I think about it, I could just use the Krenim disco beam as second beam weapon. They are just there for the procc and subsystem targetting anyway.
Yeah, currently running two neutronium plates. And this set: sto.gamepedia.com/Quantum_Phase_Applications And the solanae secondary deflector. Guess I'll get the Krenim console for 20% more shield HP and the delta console (since I'll fit the neutronic torp anyway). Atm I'm a bit undecided which warpcore to go for.…
Well, it's a science ship so I run max aux power. My problem are the the low hull HP. And with all those shield drains and terran monster torp spreads the ship tends to explode quite a lot. I'll try two copies of hazard emitters, and see how far I can drop the CD. Once upgraded to T5U the ship gets a bit tougher anyway.…
Since some people harp about the shows beeing fed centric, and therefore no Rom science vessel was ever seen. Well, let me just leave this here: memory-alpha.wikia.com/wiki/Romulan_science_vessel
5/3 for Klingon battlecruisers, Romulan warbirds and the Galor. See here: https://youtube.com/watch?v=EDLjtp2Ummw Encouraging DBB/cannon builts. Higher muzzle verlocity (sort of) for cannons. See clip above. Light blue Dominion polaron weapons, yellow (with green traces) bio phasers. FFS (dominion) polarons are light blue…
You already have the best cruiser in the Klingon lineup. If you run DBB's, just get your two omni beams (AP or tetryon) and you're good. Mat'ha isn't really much better. The trait is uselles. There is no reason to use BO and THY. Even if you use it, why would you want to scatter your targets ? You want them clustered, not…
KDF: Klingon tac: Kurak/AP beams for business, Tor'kaht or Kor /disruptor cannons: when I want to fly Klingon ships Alien/Andorian eng: Kurak for business, Negh'var and Kamarag for fun Nausicaan sci: Chel'Grett and Plesh Brek. Originally meant to fly the Guramba, but... Fed: Andorian tac: Arbiter for business, Defiant and…
Correct, there is imho no drawback for broadsiders. One even gets one more beam on target before reaching the orbit. But it helps cannon builts quite a bit. Or opens up the option to fit DBB's/omnis. Still people oppose it as if they would lose something from 5/3.
