My top choice is the Tor'kaht. Best balance between tank and gank you can get. Next in line is the Kar'fi/VoQ. Excellent ship for Hive. More tank and usually less gank than Tor'kaht. Imho Tetryon is compeletely useless in PvE. There I want to drop ONE shield facing and then finish the target off with a torpedo salvo. Even with tons of flow cap fitted/skilled the tetryon proc is hardly noticeable for that one shield facing. And which pve mob balances shields ? For me it's eiter disruptor for the debuff…

My weapons of choice are Tor'kaht and B'rel. Wonderful ships: handling, firepower all around good energy levels and good doff setups. And they come with Disruptors, the guns I prefer under most circumstances.

The Negh'var is great. Pretty much 3 fed ships in one thanks to the universal ensign. Plus better handling. I have one char slot left, and will start my KDF engineer specifically for this ship. As soon as I can afford to take some days off to level him.

Do we even know it's the Bortas on which they lost money ? I have no idea, but I know that at least some people fly the barn door and like it. As for myself: I don't fly anything that doesn't have a decent turnrate. Therefore I never even considered it. Plus: it is damn fugly.

Tac or Sci console would be more welcome on the glass cannon. Fourth eng console or not, it will explode as soon as someone looks funny at it. I'll get it regardless, just love the B'rel. Maybe the isometric charge will find it's way onto this ship :D

I'm using the Guramba with my science toon. Plasmonic leech, subnuke, and polarized disruptors are quite effective at shutting down borg cubes.
