STO is a PvE game. Therefore, PvP balance is close to nonexistant. If I want to pvp, I just log my Eve online char.

All I want to say is that I have way more playtime on my Klingon tac/Tor'kaht than on my other chars.

If you leave before the end you get marks and no CD, if you finish it, you give marks away and can't chain the fleet alert. Basically a no brainer what to do if you want to farm fleetmarks. Is this now the longest thread on STO forums ? I guess there are just 2 solutions to the obivous problems at hand: 1: Re arrange eng skills so one can put something usefull in that 3rd eng ens slot 2: Add universal slot. I would prefer the Lt Cmdr, as the an Ens uni slot would step on the toes of Assault and Star Cruiser…

I don't want a grammar/spelling/whatever discussion. My only motivation is I'm unhappy with all those super clever guys nicking ships. There is no point in it ! In STO nothing. The setups necessary for pvp are quite different to what I use in pve. Grindig the necessary gear and buying more boff slots for the different setups ? No thank you. If I want meaningful space pvp, I can activate my eve account.

Interesting. A Reman warbird now becomes the Romulan flagship ? What a joke... How deep have they fallen. Would be nice if it would be a flight deck cruiser, rather then following the footprints of the Jem Dread.

I can't say what the "best" ship is to get. But I can say I'm always coming back to my B'rel and Tor'kaht. Bet the Kar'fi is great, too. But I don't like the design.

Well, the rep grind pretty much killed any desire in me to level my Romulan beyond level 3X. I played the new missions which I really enjoyed. But grinding ALL the reputation for this new char ? No way. I barely managed to get 5 out of 6 of my existing chars through the rep system. Now with balance based on level 5 nukara…

From the storyline KDF all the way. But then again logic just demands to go Fed. It's more convinient to get the good consoles off the exchange, instead of burning zen on ships I'll never fly with my Rom.

The mission isn't that difficult. I have to say I didn't fly a D'Deridex, since I just hate spacewhales. I kept my Mogai. Alpha strike setup. Kill one target, cloak up repeat. Did work for me. Got killed a few times, but not as bad as some Hive elite runs.

Relax, even if you can log in the lag makes the game a pain in the behind. Guess it's time to log into another game and grab my sword'n'board. :cool:

No offense, but if I run a PUG elite STF I usually outdamage all Feds by a large margin with my KDF toons, too. For some reason most feddies fly spacewhales that sacrifice tank for spank but ultimately fail at both.

Given the latest lockbox rewards I would go Fed in case you don't own the Scourge destroyer already. Good disruptors and the leech directly off the exchange. Way more convinient then on Red side to get the good stuff.

Don't play on patchday. My download worked, but now I'm number 500 something in the login queue. Guess by the time I'm able to play it's bed time. But one day without playing won't kill me.

Yes, Cryptics ships are usually not that great. But then again the Mogai as well as the D'Deridex have excellent fleet versions. No need to fly what you don't like at max level.

KDF. Elite fleet phasers on a Romulan warbird ? Nah. It's going to be disruptors for me. More opportunities for a Romulan freelancer. The House of Duras is paying well... Plus, I prefer Klingon warships over fed spacewhales as wingmen.

There is no need to create a Cardassian clone of our hippie Roms. Cardassia is a Fed protectorate. Just release them as such. Give them the option to align only with Federation. True way and Breen should be enough for them to worry about.

From the given choices Cardassians please. Otherwise: Breen. I just wan't to nuke those incompetent Deferi. I guess best tactic would be to activate self destruct, and enjoy how all Deferi ships are magically attrated to die in the resultiung warpcore explosion.
