No information has been released yet on the Scimitar, but it has been confirmed that players will be able to fly one in the future. Details are to follow, of course.

The mission truly was a pain, but yes the trick is to aim for the Command Ship, which I did not do when I was doing it. I can't remember what level I was, but I know I at least died 20-30+ times. Yeah, that is something that should be addressed real quick. I just got done editing all my Bridge Officers, and only the females could wear it. None of the males could wear the belt, nor my male Captain.

There is an open beta starting today, but after the patch goes live on Tribble. Just no ETA on when we can expect to see it.

The testing and all starts today, at an unknown time. I'm going to guess sometime after 10 PDT since that is usually when they do all their patching. The blog came out yesterday, May 9th and stated that the open beta and the testing for the reward begins tomorrow, which is now today.
