Honestly I wish the T6 damage bonus extended to all Reputation weapons, not just the project ones. Would give people a little extra incentive to use them.
Fun Fact that I just noticed: Even though Ultra Rare and Epic loot drops do not exist in the game, it is still possible to set either as the "Loot Threshold" in team settings.
Really do hope they add a Sarcophagus Bridge since ALL the other Discovery ships got their bridges now. If your feeling adventurous you can do like I have and go cannons/turrets and slap on the trait "Advanced Firing Solutions" from the Qib Intel battlecruiser and BAM, you got +10 extra turn rate and the ability to point…
I'm not interested in a show "about" the Empress. However I would very much like to see a show with a more in depth look into Section 31! I think it would be interested to see just how they operate, and how they may wrestle with the morality of doing what needs to be done. I mean surely all of Section 31 are not stone cold…
I should point out that: performance issues =/= rubberbanding. Rubberbanding is ALWAYS an connectivity/network issue somewhere down the line. It is the result of the server and client being out of sync due to slow data transfer, hence why you periodically "bounce back" because the server is telling you that your not…
Hey I know... how about instead of waging war with every race in the galaxy we go back to being "explorers"? Or how about some story arcs focusing on some of the various worlds around the galaxy such as Trill or Ferenginar? Can't go wrong with more ferengi content! And Trill is ripe for a story arc given the controversies…
Wrong, people whined explicitly about not having access to the more appealing Elite costumes that unlocked with full sets of Mk XII ground gear. This was way back before equipment got rebalanced and the difference between Mk XI and XII gear was so miniscule it was inconsequential, even to min-maxers. Mk XII sets were all…
The sad irony is that this is exactly what the Elite Honor Guard/M.A.C.O/Omega outfits used to be. But casual players with severe entitlement issues whined so much about not getting them(because they didn't want to put any effort into earning them) that Cryptic introduced the reputation system instead that just made them…
I should add, and this is very important, that I'm not advocating for more sources of EC, there's more than enough of that. What I'm advocating for is the introduction of desirable high value items that players would trade amongst themselves, facilitating the movement of Energy Credits rather than the generation of them…
Actually what I really want to know is what happened to the Discovery Phaser and Disruptor CANNONS from day 1. They look like discovery torpedoes rather than any kind of cannons seen in the show.
That's pretty much the point. The entire idea is that certain powers are supposed to be exclusively produced by players. Either by making yourself or buying from other players and driving the EC economy.
Fair enough, I pretty much gave up on PvP entirely after LoR, since that's what "kicked off" the speed builds, so I haven't really kept up with how their doing it. Regardless of methodology speed builds are so horrendously game breaking its not even funny, and still are IMHO the worst offenders of the resulting power creep.
Personally I think the one single thing that would help PvP tremendously is a nerf to Emergency Power to Engines. The decline of PvP started with Legacy of Romulus when the ability was buffed, ever since then its been speedboat online, which has automatically disqualified cruisers and carriers from PvP. Why single out…
Honestly I never noticed any difference whatsoever. They were stupidly easy already before Delta Rising, and were still stupidly easy afterwards. The introduction and buff of the TR-116B had already ruined them a couple of years before DR rolled around.
I would argue that making lockbox and lobi ships account unlocks would increase Cryptic's profits rather than cut into them, as it would give the lockboxes and ships a much greater "mass appeal" than they have now. Only a minority of the players even go in for lockbox ships to begin with, and an even more miniscule one…
I hope the anniversary event will involve a Mirror Crossfield as a reward. :) Keeping the lockbox one unique, but adding a variant available to a wider audience. Or even better, give it a console that forms a set with the lockbox Crossfield, making both variants extremely desirable!
Hive is fine, if anything we need more of the queues to be on the same level. But god forbid players should actually have to think about how they build their characters and compose their teams. I mean god forbid a dedicated tank should actually be needed.
