I honestly think this is just a solution for a self-created problem. This rep system sounded cool but became a grind that became boring from lack of variety (which a lot of the game is plagued since it is mainly grind and loot, not grind/loot/cosmetics/etc, but that is a different topic entirely). This also devalues the…
Arc has potential. Its interface is clean both out of game and in game. Some of the things I love with Steam or make sense for the client, such as Chat Support (which you apparently have coming soon), integration with existing in game friend lists (guessing that is a part of Chat support), and an in-game browser (Love the…
More Qs would be a good first step for this event. It seems more of a burden than fun when it comes to a daily. The presents mini-game is part of the problem imo. Please look into ways to make it more fun next year.
This is going to cripple the smaller fleets that coordinated for those 3-hr fleet mark events. It is hard enough with the amount of grinding for fleet holdings to get motivation for those events...now that they are confined to a single weekend it is going to be near impossible. Please look for a different solution in the…
It would be cool, although she has been under a great deal of unknown stress from the experiments and will likely need time to recover (hence her going back to New Romulus).
Hopefully a long-term solution can come about in the future, since not just Star Trek Online but Neverwinter and Champions (?) down as well when these happen.
Really liked this section, well done. I really enjoyed the progression and ending of this story arc. There are a few things I noticed: Small Packages: -Picking up the Tiercel Shuttle, it currently has the Klingon Shuttle Model (if this is intended until the correct one is ready ignore):…
Just played through this, awesome set of missions. The Nimbus zone was also a cool experience different in a few ways from existing adventure zones (Woo Hoo Dance!). Below are a few things I noticed: The Zone Itself: -When you beamed up a group of prisoners or some other interactive, the respawn timer seemed to trigger…
Missions are still great. There were only a few things here and there I noticed with the current versions. Sleepers: -The pirates are annoying. I restarted the mission three times because I could not find all of them since I scanned the other objectives first. On the fourth time, I got lucky in finding the second pirate,…
Liked the addition to Bigger Picture, and still like all of them overall, here are a few things I noticed: The Price of Neutrality: -Figured this might have been a change until I saw other posts, a random alien appeared on my bridge, instead of my normal Federation that was the only other one on the bridge. Bigger Picture:…
Replayed the missions, current voice work is awesome. One thing I noticed for the tutorial (spoilers below you are warned). D'Vex speaks about his captain in the voice dialogue, but in the textual dialogue, refers to his superior as commander:…
It was a little disappointing, but understandable since each of the characters are unique from one of the missions, or participate in later missions. If changing the look outside the uniform is the problem (i.e. eyes/ears/hair), maybe disabling the advanced features of the character tailor except for the advanced tab for…
I thought this was a great mission set overall. Here are a few things I noticed: Smash and Grab: -Transporting between the frieghters 1 and 2 led to the bridge officers staying behind on the first one, while I was transported. -Another bug just noticed, a federation phaser was placed into one of the bridge officer's hands…
Well done, amazing story for the start of the Romulan Republic. I also liked how the bridge officers you acquired have a backstory associated with them, that you actually played through. Before I saw this thread, made another thread about a minor nitpick about the phaser rifle in Gasko Blues. In Turning Point, the final…
On initial character creation, the skirt seemed to have a pseudo transparent look to the material. That particular lighting might have caused the issue, have not noticed it outside of the creator, or inside the tailor.
I agree with the previous posts that requested to see more TOS uniforms (for the Andorian, Tellarite, KDF, etc.) Think that would be a cool addition to the game. The TOS variant in "Where No Man Has Gone Before" (http://images1.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20110407162724/memoryalpha/en/images/c/c9/Mitchell-and-Dehner.jpg) would…
That is unfortunate. That also means they could create a copy, and manipulate that to the older STF style though, provided there is a framework to easily duplicate. This sounds completely doable to re-add as either story missions, or traditional-stfs to run along side the new, allowing players that want the story and/or…
I like a lot of the new tailor look/feel. One suggestion I want to make is to show the different hair styles applied (without applying) when you are mousing over them, like the faces are doing now.
I have heard how there was a story to the old stfs. I would very much like to play through the story the old ones provided, since I did not get a chance to play them back in my original 65 days at launch. The new ones should stay, since most players can go through these without rage-quitting the game because they did not…
The problem was that the cannon was rarely able to be in range of any of the group, making Donatra feel easier due to most players staying alive easily.
Went onto the new Drozana, and I like it. Everything is group so that it is easier for players to find everything, and the atmosphere gives a larger feel than the original gave. The change from a door to an elevator was also a nice change for the story missions.
I really like the new hud color options. The TNG and Voyager current has an issue with cetrain buttons being harder to see for the text, but not a big deal. Will there be an option to select the two different colors (i.e. the gorn one is a comb of green/brown), or an expanded list in the future?
