This seems like a very straightforward question, but no matter how much I google around I can't find an answer. I tried asking in the Steam forums, but folks there tend to be a bit...well...never mind.

So here's my conundrum. Obviously, if I wanted to heal or buff an officer while on the ground, all I would have to do is click on them with my mouse. But that's not ideal at all. There are already keybinds for targeting teammates, but your officers are not considered "teammates" as far as those keybinds are concerned.

That being said, what the heck are the keybinds for targeting your own officers? Do they exist? And if not, why the heck not? Seems like an extremely basic part of the core gameplay. I would settle for a custom script, if anyone happens to know how to create one. I don't need or want anything fancy. I know you can write stuff that auto-activates powers at the same time and all that high-level stuff. Literally all I want is to be able to target officers the way one targets team members. Plain and simple (and "easy" I would think!).

Thanks in advance for your help. Hopefully I'll have better luck on these forums.

Edit:
Okay. After about an hour and a half of being trolled in zone chat in multiple maps, I've finally learned what needs to be done. (Besides never speaking to anyone in this game again. lol)

Apparently, you can actually specify named NPC's with the /target command. Lo and behold, this works for bridge officers, too.

So. Instead of having players assigned to my F keys, I'm able to assign my bridge crew. It's fairly straightforward: /bind f2 target name, /bind f3 target name, etc.

Now, the only drawback to this is:
1. It only works with one character on your account, since other characters will have different officers.
2. Unless you create more than 4 binds, you won't be able to switch out your officers.

Either way, this is the only solution. Would have been nice if Cryptic included this as a native function, but whatever. It works. Posting this here to hopefully spare others the pain of trying to get a valid answer for such a simple question. lol
