File a GM ticket to discuss moderation with the actual moderators.
To do so, visit the Atari Support portal.
If you don't like the response, elevate or re-submit the ticket for approval higher-up the chain-of-command at the CM team. It does work. I can't go into why but the ticket system can work if you have right on your side.
Cryptic Studios has the final say on all aspects of these Forums. If you have a problem, you may make a complaint to Cryptic Studios directly and not publicly on the website. Creating threads or posts that question or reference administrative decisions or potential administrative decisions, such as post removals and thread closures, is not permitted. If you feel that we have made a mistake, please privately contact a Cryptic Studios and we will review the situation.
This isn't a public forum, it's a private one, the First Amendment doesn't apply here, they can censor, or not-censor as they see fit.
Know the rules, follow them, and there won't be any problems.
^^This. You could think the forum moderation is out of control, but it wouldn't matter. You play by their rules and those rules are subject to change at any moment.
Discussing Disciplinary Actions
Posts and/or private messages that, in any manner whether directly or indirectly, discuss disciplinary actions taken by Cryptic Studios against any user (including the poster) may be subject to an infraction.
As I seem to be repeating this a lot in the last couple of hours, I wouldd ask everyone to check out the forum's rules. The important bits, those which can cause you a suspension and / or ban are even listed first.
If you wish to talk about an infraction you have received or you have a question about forum moderation, then Darren has posted the right way of doing things.
