Ok so I've been playing now for 46 days and Im sorry but all these prev/pres DEV question and answer sessions get confusing and hard to read. So i thought I'd compile some statements questions and suggestions if these have been answered before and you know the answer please post it I will be reading this thing regularly.
Please note I may go off in a tangent on occasion for which I apologise. So here we go....
Firstly a suggestion, there needs to be more freedom in terms of ships, consoles, bridge officers, and crafting. So for example at the moment Cruisers are really Engineering Cruisers, Escorts are Tactical Escorts, and Science ships are only well... Science Ships. What I'd like to see is, Tactical Cruisers, Engineering Science ships and Science Escorts.
Now I understand that this may seem difficult but really the implementation should be fairly easy. All we would need is the ability to choose BO stations and levels. Obviously the existing ship level caps need to remain so for example on my Sovreign I've got a place for 4 Eng skill slot, 3 Eng skill slot, 2 Tac & Sci skill slot, and a single tac slot.
For me I'd want to change this too 4 Tac Slot, 3 Eng Slot, 2 Tac & Sci Slot and 1 Eng Slot. This would make PVP alot more interesting, and alot more challenging. Also along with that I'd like the option to determine how many consoles are assigned to each skill. So rather than the 4 eng 3 tac and 2 science I could have 3 each or 5 tac 2 sci and 2 eng.
Also for crafting i'd like to see the current system augmented so that at RA lower half you could pick one of the extras for the weapon at RA upper half you could pick two and VA you could choose all three. So if i dont want a phaser array with [ACC] & [DMG]x2 I could instead choose [DMG]x3 or [CrtD]x2 and [DMG].
So on to other stuff most specifically the war zones. Why oh why on a map like Kerrat do fed and KDF not get auto teamed together Im tired of not being able to do the mission in there cos everyones fighting everyone stuff like that should be reserved for the Arena's and before some of you out there start on the well ive seen u shooting ppl or uve shot me before i only ever attack after being attacked by you or your faction.
Why cant we have more missions involving the briefing room or missions within our own ship. I recently went on a tour of the decks and I loved it. There is a patrol mission where you have to collect stuff from asteroids as somehow you've managed to bugger up your engines. It would of been nice on this mission to actually pop to engineering and help out on the repairs.
Also I want more normal (not feature episode missions) with height levels. Like in the recent cutting the cord you had to get up on buildings on stuff that was awesome!!!! Oh and maybe for the in ship repairs we could get a new mini game something of a combo between wave modulation and the satellite repair ( i know what im thinking but its hard to describe).
Also i dont know if its quick or slow but getting to VA in 46 days seems fast but im only on normal difficulty. Also we should be able to craft any weapon as it seems like a disruptor mk XI with [ACC] [DMG]x2 is not int he crafting list now I know disruptors are the mainstay of the Klingons but with the amount of time they spent as allies and with the stuff thats recovered in conflict normally we should have the option for one of these.
Love absolutely love the ability to hide visuals and keep things cannon thats awesome. Love the beam out as almost disruptored in Collesiuem I think it was. Love the torpedo bombardment on the iconian gate on cutting the cord. Id love a mission where SECTION 31 and Mr Drake come back and tell us we have to try and prevent the Hobus supernova by time travelling again, might have to try and do this on the foundry when I can figure it out.
Cant wait till previous specials are opened so I can get me a ophidin cane and possibly tribble of borg. I know its available in the c-store but still. Oh and speaking of which MVAM expensive much 1,200 AT or 500 emblems dudes I know its new and probably had alot of work in it but still lower cost = more ppl buying.
STF's - get a good team and their awesome but why are they so bloody difficult I know they have awesome rewards but still the one im on khitomer accord seems like it was meant not to be won. Maybe thats just me be seems oddly too difficult.
