I dunno if this is a bug or if i'm doing something wrong. it was ok before...
It's very annoying having to go back to the abilities window just to drag the transwarp location option to the tray. I keep locking the it but that don't seem to help...having to mess about like this it would be quicker to me go to where i want at normal speed
I have the same problems on all my toons. but it is just the diplomatic Transwarp powers. I submitted a bug report and started a thread in the bugs part of the forum, but didn't get any response.
what i did, was clear all abilities off from the 7 trays i dont use, including my transwarp ones, and then stuck my transwarp powers to the tray where i want it

They don't waste any time responding when someone breaks forum rules though...
The UI is very very glitchy in general. I have the same issue with the DS9 (mostly) and the K7 ones, which seem to randomly disappear from the tray. Between that and the delayed or misfired skill activation I tend to experience some really frustrating moments, especially considering this is a known issue for a very long time.
I really think the UI needs a complete overhaul on all counts to first rid of the cheap monochromatic blue and then add some real functionality and versatility to accomodate the ever growing set of abilities and things we are tracking in game. There has been mention in engineering reports that the UI will see changes over the patches. I hope its sooner rather than later.
Yea it's a known bug and it's annoying especially with levelling, when you add new abilities every now and then. What I noticed is that no matter what ability, it always adds itself on a task bar somewhere, while TRIBBLE the buttons that are already there. For example if you have a full taskbar and add a battery to your device slot, it'll TRIBBLE some buttons that are already there.
What you can do about this is put ALL the functions you have on different taskbar rows. It should stay that way, even if you leave one "spot" free for a device, such as battery. Be advised however that if you make any BOFF change, it will get screwed.
I had the problem with the Diplomatic Transwarps disappearing from my tray in my DSSV. The only way I got it to clear was to decommission the ship and buy a new one. Apparently, some ships purchased before a certain time might not be completely compatible with the new transwarp options.
i've had this prty much every time i slot a transwarp (not esd) so now i just swap the power in the tray when i want to use it. once i even lost transwarp to quo-nos on my klingon charicter. this is an annoying bug, but it's not rly an improtant one.
cryptic actually responded to this issue for the first time since launch last week.
Basically: It is a problem. They are working on it. They hate it. No eta. It is a core design of the system.
Same issue here. I also submitted a bug report and got no response. I am at Ambassador level and would like access to the transwarp abilities. Unfortunately I have to keep adding the randomly missing ones to the tray before I can use it. An annoyingly extra step, but still possible until they fix it.

seems to have worked so far
How do you clear things from your personal tray? I have yet to figure this one out.

right click on the icon and drag it away from the tray, then release
