So I just got the TR-116 (yeah, I found a good deal at Target! lol). Imagine my surprise when my Fleet Admiral clicked on it and found a MKI weapon sitting in his inventory. The TR-116 doesn't scale like the new items we see coming in the C-Store (the weapons pack, etc.) and I'm hoping you guys can rectify this? It would be nice... I don't see my Admiral using this in its current state at all lol

He must have found a retail copy of STO at target and added the key to his account. Thus adding the item to his account to unlock. Most target's have put the price of STO down to 10 bucks, so if you really want it bad go hunting to targets or take a chance and buy online:
Its also possible the Target the OP went to had put the game on clearance and dropped the game down in price. I've seen PC games on clearance at target as low as 99 cents.
Obviously it won't do as much damage as an MK XII but the difference isn't as big as you might think. The damage for weapons in the game (space and ground) seems to be three (more or less) equal parts: Base + Mark + Skill (actually the mark is slightly more than 1/3rd since it now is greater than 10).
If you are a tactical officer you get the full base and then the entire skill bonus, which means the TR-116 does 1/3rd less damage than other weapons. If you're a non-tactical then it does half as much damage. While the damage is not great, considering it can fire through walls it might be just about balanced. That is assuming the base damage is equivalent to other weapons. If the damage were equivalent to other weapons at the high end of the game then it would be extremely overpowered.

What???
I didn't think the TR-116 was in the game <yet>
Yeah, I used to bullseye womp rats with my TR-116 back home. They're not much bigger than two meters.
The TR-116 is a Target special item that's been in the game since launch, I believe.

Does it shoot through walls?
since i am in germany i never had the chance to get one of these codes to begin with.
I would love to see a scalable TR-116
It's not a mission reward.
I want projectile weapons. I want the FC Tommy Gun too. Very effective on borg!
