I will have mine in 2 days time. Others have their due to them buying the lifetime subscription when the game launched. so anyone who started the game in february under regular subscription will have their yaht in march well few days time
Just a shuttle, but in my opinion it is the best ship in game, I LOVE mine (fed version that is) For looks just google the name it is quite acurate model wise.
Seriously put a reman shield on it and you got a one of a kind ride to the best night clubs on Risa.
Only wish it had an iterior, would pay 5000 atari tokens for that in a hearth beat.
O and a way to make it upgradeable to a tier 5 ship, one may whish right?
Thank God there is no money in the future because it would cost a fortune to rent dockspace for all these ships we have to park.
True this, true this.
A bit of a VA will have a dozen to 2 dozen ships (depending on bad you collect them), makes one wonder if they are not better used on the front lines instead of gattering dust in a hangar?
Actually if I was a Galaxy class captain I'd just separate the saucer section and use that as my captain's yacht!!:D
If I where one I would order the crew to get of at the starbase, take the ship out and activate self destruct.
That is at least what I did after my test sessions with the Galaxy-X, Galaxy refit and nebula class. Than I have a slightly unhealthy hatred towards anything that looks like the galaxy class.
Best would be if you fly a sovy like me to have it launch from the button of your saucer section like it should *dreams*

I've always considered past ships as being decomissioned or reassigned to other commanding officers. Most of them Iif I know I'm not going to use them again I just decomission them and say they've "gone on elsewhere" so I can reuse the name with a letter on the same registry number rather than the "Shipname-B" fad that I've seen.
The war is going so poorly that ensigns get their own ships however not poor enough to prevent VAs from mothballing fleets of ships.
yeah kind of wierd indeed, lets see what I could store if I kept all:
Galaxy refit
Galaxy-X
Nebula
Vulcan ship (forgot name)
Excelsior refit
Star cruiser
Advanced escort
Fleet escort
Defiant refit
Deep space science vessel
Recon science vessel
defiant
Intrepid
Intrepid refit
Galaxy
Akira
Heavy cruiser
Excelsior
Hope class
Nova class
Excalibur class
Sabre class
Miranda
Connie
NX
Captain's yacht
Delta flyer
Runabout
Type 8
That would be 25 ships and 4 shuttles. That is bigger than most fleets we have seen fighting to aid us!
Also that would be filling up the entire docking area and some more of ESD

And yes, it is just a shuttle.
No pics. Go to sto wiki.

"Excuse Mr Dockmaster, can you just park my yacht next to me shuttle, runabout and 4 other ships i'm not currently using?"

This is a damn good thought.

Technically speaking, wouldn't a separated Galaxy with detached yacht count as a poor man's MVAM?
Got mine a few days ago, and was surprised at the bright colors available in the palette. And it handles quite well.
Though I wonder if we can reclaim it we delete it?

After you've claimed it, the shuttle vendor has an additional dialogue option to give you another claim token.
So it CAN be reclaimed after deleting it, which is convenient.
That just leaves the inconvenience of re-fixing any broken toolbars as a result of deleting the ship.
