The the last episode Sela's Leahval "Yamato Cannon" hits crazy hard.
I was in a freaking Assault Cruiser and one hit took me to about half. If not for EVM, Miracle Worker and Eng Team III still wouldn't have kept me from getting killed.
This was the first time in my life I'd been glad I sat through Nemesis, because I already knew what was coming and got out of the way when she started powering that thing up.
Yea pretty nasty attack, can't wait for it to hit the C-Store
There are already Two Mission's in the game that prepare one for this particular battle....
The one with the Doomsday Device and the one in which you join a very large Fed. Fleet to take out a previous version of this very Vessel. (sorry, I'm lousy at remembering mission names)
I knew as soon as the thing dropped out of warp, to NOT Get/Stay in FRONT of it.
I also Thank The Dev's, for Evasive Manuvers and Engine Batteries.

Yea I already knew about it as well but I always let them hit me once just to see how bad they hit but as a cruiser was able to take it pretty well head on.
I played through this mission twice: once as an Engineer in a Cruiser, once as Tactical in an Escort. Somehow, despite my being prepared for it, she caught me at least once on each ship. The results? My escort became space debris and she killed all the crew on my cruiser, leaving me limping with half hull and sans a shield facing.
I dunno, on an Akira escort I found her pretty survivable (Maybe because I never had to stand in front of the beam) although I did get pretty badly hurt and, for fun, decided to ram her in the end. It took care of her, at least.
Also a little tip: Get some deuterium burns. If your evasive is still on cool-down, you can still evade!
This.
I used the Deuterium Surplus twice during the mission (batteries were on cooldown) and it saved my aft section both times. Definitely worth doing the daily to get a bunch of these.

There now I know what was causing that error in my systems, my engineer thought we had been hit byt a bit of sub space radiation. Not that it really matters though big cannon or radiation damage is the same, nothing
I'm 100% positive that there are Deep Space Encounters with Romulans or Remans, I've fought in them several times where you can go up against the Scimitar. Staying to the rear of the ship, or once the firing point tips start powering up you go for altitude as high as you can get to avoid the Thalaron damage.
Having gone up against this ship in the past I wasn't worried, nor did my ship get destroyed in the fight with Sela's ship.
Overall I thought the Romulan commander on the ground went down relatively easy, didn't think
the final episode was difficult. But it had a very cool look, played well, and I enjoyed it.
There was one point during the episode where I saw a single scorpion fighter on a roof top and I
debated on attacking it to blow up, or leaving it thinking that was going to be used to take off in
and escape to orbit. I blew it up.

Z
what daily is this??
The mission is Defense Contract, and the reward is four or five Deuterium Surplus ship devices. Well worth the time.

(cruisers ftw)
