So someone thought there were too many and a bunch of people posted saying they like seeing life on the instances, and I agree 100% and wanted to post this seperately. Don't reduce the # of people on an instance please!!!! I love seeing so much activity, this is a MMORPG, I want to see other ships, other designs, etc. Before the instances felt dead and I was WONDERING why things were looking so much better/active.
Please do not reduce the # of people in an instance!!!!
Only problem with 75 cap is in sector space during featured episodes, other than that, the game seems more realistic to have crowds...like people were asking for months on end.
All Cryptic need to worry about is stability, but it seems they have finally gotten that year long problem fixed...well at least for now
If dstahl would tear down those sector space walls, the 75 person cap in sector space wouldn't feel as crowded.
Mr. dstahl, tear down this wall.
Sector space isnt the problem. The problem is in very crowded areas like in or around ESD. There is just too many assets in those areas, throw in people walking around with pets, the multitude of uniform options, the graphical effects going off, and you have a recipe for lag and long load times transitioning into and out of the zone.
Also to the original poster, what was the point of creating ANOTHER thread on this. There was already one going. No need to state your opinion separate from that other one.

Iunno. Everything feels way too crowded now, but at only 50 per instance it all felt so empty.
I say reduce it, but not back to 50. 60-65 could prove to be a happy medium between "dead" and "clusterfrak".
I see no real reason to reduce it.

In favor of this.
