Let's estimate. I've been trying to log in for over an hour lol. It seems it's never been this busy.
Hope I can play 'Cutting The Cord' sometime tonight.....

I played the mission just fine.

It was a bit of a cluster**** in sectorspace though.

Well okay, haha, I'll cross you of my list.

For the love of Surak, I've got to get past 'Retrieving list of maps' someday!

    *edit*

    Ok, Darren, we have 1

I don't know about traffic, but I started having connectivity issues last night with lag that was just unprecedented.

I was having the "SERVER NOT RESPONDING" message constantly and it was counting into the 100s of seconds. It NEVER goes past 10 seconds, usually.

This seems odd and we are not noticing anything out of whack on our end. You may have a failed client connection. I'm forwarding the issue to our netops team to investigate. You may try logging out, closing your client and launcher and try reloading the game.

I'll try that, and thanks for responding to the issue, Mr Stahl!

I agree, the lag in PVP was just atrocious. The worst I've ever seen it.

Well, last night I logged out in sector space, so it may even be impossible to get in now. Although, one of my alts is at ds9 and won't log in either.

    EDIT

I got past retrieving list of maps and I'm now at the loading screenshot. I've had 12 'Server not responding's' so far and they differ from 15 seconds to 90

    EDIT

    and got disconnected again......

got in 1 time, only to be thrown out 10 seconds later.

For someone who actually suited up to play the new star trek online episode this may prove to be a dissapointing evening:(.

Have you tried running the game through the proxy (or, if enabled, disabling the proxy) from the launcher?

Have you tried running a tracert to the servers?

I'd suggest running a traceroute to determine what connections along the way are causing issues.

To run a traceroute (assuming you use Windows):
    • Open a command Prompt
      • if you don't know how, search for cmd.exe
      • run it as an administrator

    • Type in: tracert 208.95.184.226
      • ensure port 7309 is allowed on your firewall.

I appreciate this doesn't help you... but I had a similar issue the weekend before last. It was fine for the majority it seemed, but I was getting lots of server disconnections and failed instances (e.g. enemies stopped taking damage, mission progression breaking). That was over a ~ 2 hour period and impacted about half a dozen mission attempts (across multiple missions). Sector space was fine at the time however.

Did you have any latency data to go along with that? (i.e. three columns of ### ms)
