They were delayed until the mission is actually complete.

dstahl said he's waiting on tech for them.

sorry - this is true. I have been working on dailies but I'm running behind schedule (since I don't really have all the time in the world to make content - but I've set a bad precedence by adding dailies each series).

I got about 90% done with the shuttle crafting daily on Friday so I'm hopeful that will be in soon.

I'm also working on a Horta Crafting repeatable mission, as well as some additional melee weapon crafting missions. Not firm eta - but I will get them posted as soon as I can.

    Horka? WTH is a Horka?

Yeah, I get it. I'm being a bit of a baby about this, I was just really excited about the idea of doing more dailies.

On a serious note, great job STO team. I don't say it often enough how awesome you guys are. I love the detail and attention on the missions, the stories, the ships. I love that Dstahl is so straight forward on these threads. Stormshade is an awesome rep for the community and the rest of the team... I'm a horrible person being too lazy to name all you guys off at the moment, but you guys are awesome.

On the plus side, he can string these missions out each week and people could lay some slack on the devs. ;)

    horta perhaps?

That'll explain the different Horta icons that were plundered from the prepatch last week.

Horta crafting needs to be a Tetris minigame.

A Horta crafting mission? Why (or even how for that matter) do you want to craft a Horta?

I know it's Trek....but this is getting seriously weird.....the devs have been using the wrong hypo again if it's true.(the one with the 'happy' mix:p)

That would be nice. I love my klingon and stuff, but I feel a bit bad for the devs getting hammered all of the time about the klink content.

YAY that addressed my deepest concern. I really enjoyed cutting the cord the whole thing was totally epic.
The rewards were cool, but i had my heart set on a auto-leveling sword, but if theres a melee daily coming out that should do instead :)

Think of it is an alternative form of Tribble training game that yields a different type of Horta which can be used as an attack pet.

"Picture yourself in a boat on a river,
With tangerine trees and marmalade skies.
Somebody calls you: you answer quite slowly.
    A girl with kaleidoscope eyes."
-pretty much the design philosophy of Horta crafting.

I'm just hoping that now that a certain Reman resistance leader is safe and sound at the Vault, we can maybe get some humanitarian daily missions from him sometime soon. Any word on missions like this devs? Btw, AMAAAAAZING job on this series! The whole thing gave me that Trek feel, but the last 2 eps really made me feel like I was an actual Trek character!

This man deserves a Guinness, as does Heinig for the mission this week.

I have only minor issues with the idea of attack horta, I'd rather Sehlat or some such, but why was it decided that crafting was the logical way of doing this? Just curious.

And will we have further use for the flyer in upcoming missions?

I think rubbing living rocks together to force them to breed you a living rock/killing-machine would be even weirder.

I'm okay with calling this "crafting" and averting my eyes to unspeakable... horta tango.

I hope the melee crafting daily is some kind of arena combat.

I think my preference would be if we went to a holodeck and it dropped us in a fenced in version of Vulcan or the existing Colosseum map.

I can see that being a Kingdom Hearts-kind of challenge map.

Trying not to be sarcastic but there has been a long standing request for Attack Targ breeding/buffing KDF side. I don't think I've seen a bunch of requests for "Attack Horta" so any reason why Targs have been delayed or forgotten?

And I hope you don't say Attack Horta will be used as faction agnostic attack pets in place of Targs. :(

I'm pretty sure it's because the Horta will probably be consumable and we'll see standard combat pets taking up bridge officer slots.
