I loved this ep. It might even be my favourite of the entire series. The city was amazing and looked beautiful (I hope that makes it to the foundry for us to play with) and I enjoyed the orbital strikes, the cut scenes, the fact you had no bo's with you and instead had security teams was a nice touch. The boss fight was cool. Everything just worked for me. The final space battle was also epic and very enjoyable. As a final ep it did not disappoint.

Honestly brilliant job on the episode and brilliant job on the series in general. This was been an awesome experience.

Please don't wait too long before the next featured series as this just kicked STO from a good game to a great game in my eyes.

I really enjoyed the whole series. This episode was very enjoyable. I agree the city scape was very well done, a little confusing, but very nice none the less.

I do think I liked colesium (sp?) a little better though...original series music and all but this whole series was very good from start to finish. Nice job Cryptic :D

That seems really odd. Are you getting other music from the game? There should be no difference between the coliseum music and other music in the game?

Do you have a custom playlist setup by chance?

I've just no good explanation as to why you would not hear this specific music.

I thoroughly enjoyed this episode. It was a excellent conclusion to the storyline while setting things up for an upcoming series.

And I was totally shocked to see Sela show up at the end. Didn't see that coming. You know their setting her up to play a significant role in the Iconian story arc.

One of the things I liked the best was that for the first time, I felt like something I did really had an impact. My actions resulted in a complete change in the Romulan leadership. True, this won't have a visual impact, but still, it feels like things in the universe moved forward today. :D

the cut scenes, the fact you had no bo's with you and instead had security teams was a nice touch

I'm sure that was an essential workaround to prevent the mother of all BOff pathing bugs.

The fact it worked perfectly in the context of the story was wonderful writing.

loved it. was such a good mission, a great ground map, lovel;y scripting, and even the resolution was satisfying. enjoyed every second of it.

if this is the shape of things to come, then I can't wait to see what else you guys cook up.

i have no music problems at all. i even hear one of the standard background tunes going on during the period that it should be playing so its not like im hearing silence. whilst i know nothing about how you put it together i assumed the standard game music was just overriding the custom piece somehow. ive played the mission about 5 times on different characters and all of them had the same problem.

nope never used custom play lists ever.

I know a couple of other people have reported the same issue. there was a bug report thread too.

I have found that in many other mmo's i have to adjust my speaker settings, sometimes the 5.1 setup i use doesn't play the sounds over the correct channels. not sure if thats whats causing your problem or not but its an idea. check to see if your speakers aren't set to stereo or something other then what your system has.

I wrote my opinion on this mission in the feedback section, but... it could have been better, I had the feeling it's too much important stuff put together. Iconians, Hakeev, Sela...

It's as if you were walking thru a Borg cube, ready to solve some mystery and suddenly Borg Queen, Locutus and Kosst Amojan jumped in front of you at the same time, you shot them all to pieces and the mission was over. Like.... huh?

    I have to agree...

I am not a big game, and frankly I care more about a good story than good graphics and overdone enviroments, but I have to admit...

This is the only game with missions where I had a feeling of being impressed all the way...

Good work... keep doing things this way.

you might be on to something here. im not actually using independent speakers. my HD graphics card plugs directly into a HD TV, so im using the tv's speakers. Im no musical expert but if the custom piece is not be sent through the main speakers but as background music added on top then that might explain it.

ill see if i can play around with the settings, if not ill try and fix up my old speakers and see if that does something.

It makes sense as a conclusion, considering four missions (and more if you include that hints at this earlier in the game) sort of lead to the conclusion that Reman resistance and the Romulans would butt heads.

Once Haakev failed, it became clear that Sela had to step in. She doesn't exactly die though and the puppeteers revealed their strings. :)

Yea - but all that in last 10 mins of the last mission? Also, Sela was supposed to be antagonistic to Tal Shiar, but now she works with Iconians? It's just confusing. Also, the gates are confusing too - these Romulans have the best travel system of the galaxy and they can't call reinforcements thru it? Why is a random arch between two buildings an iconian gate? How did you survive a torpedo blast standing 5 meters from it? It's just odd.

Kind of. I don't think of it as wrapping things up as much as I do setting up the next series (if it felt like a cliffhangar...)

The Obisek dialogue felt like the proper denouement.

I loved this series, from the cutscenes to what seemed like extremely long missions with so many objectives it almost made me feel overwhelmed. This Series just flat out impressed me.

My only disappointment was the mission reward. I cant complain about the Reman Boff, I guessed that would be the reward and actually looked forward to it, what I have to shake my head at is the choice to make the final reward for the specific mission a mine.......even if its a mine that snares other ships. I thought it was 1.) not up to par with some of the rewards prior to this, especially since this one was the finale. and 2.) I dont use mines. Ima Escort Captain, my ship layout is built for offensive capabilities, a mine in one of my slots would hurt my dps. I can understand if others use them they might not object to it and even be happy with it. But I dont see many mines being used anymore and I just feel as if this reward was ultra specific to a particular gameplay. Patrol rewards or even smaller PVE missions are fine when it comes to that, but to me FEs are on the level of STFs in my eyes. They should drop better loot and have better rewards. It is meant to bring in a bigger playerbase afterall.

    Over all good mission.

    LOVED:
    city
    virtual route
    Orbital strike
    targeting the flying Scorpion fighter
killing the squad by blowning up the parked fighter.

    DIDN'T LIKE SO MUCH:
Romulan Medic that took 30 minutes to kill and could leap 2 story buildings:rolleyes:

I personally had quite the frustrating boss fight which tainted the rest of the mission, but over all it was ok. I'll try it again tomorrow and see if can do better with it. As of today I liked Collesium(sp) the best.

I felt like a cliffhanger too, but the next set of series is supposed to involve DS9 (as some Dev said somewhere recently), so I very much doubt we'll get any serious wrap-up anytime soon.

I loved this episode. It was AWESOME. The space battle at the end made this episode. Its funny how Hakeev died... with all his importance... he had a light guard and went without any real struggle. Shows you what happens when your just a pawn., but then Sela shows up (BIG SURPRISE) and WOW. Was that a hard fight (had to respawn twice) lol. Then at the end when That Iconian ship showed up and took her into their portal... WOW. That was incredible. The look of The Iconian gate was awesome... and what surprised me was when I went to blow up the land based Iconian Gate... went into the room and saw that Romulan who shouted something and jumped into the gate I was like WOW. Uh oh The Tal Shiar are not done ... yet.

INCREDIBLE JOB CRYPTIC! SIMPLY AMAZING! The Best of The Series!!!

Who said the mission is tying into the next FE series? ;)

There's endgame the devs need to start working on for Season 5.

Strangely enough, when the last portal opened, the first graphic that appeared behind it was DS9.

And who was the Female Romulan that ran through the portal to Gre'thor?

    Nice little mission. :)

Shame I haven't managed to finish it yet.

I've had to log off and let it reset far too many times, it's far too full of bugs. :(

Things that should be selectable not being.

Hakeev ( or whatever his name is ) spawning ontop of or jumping up to, roof tops that I can't get onto.

Enemies that can jump 100feet into the air over the gantry railings.

I'll try again tommorrow, but for now it's just P*****g me off.

I didn't see Grethor there, I saw the ESD, which means the graphics of the portal at the moment was random and means nothing at all.

From my point of view, Sela wasnt there to back to Tal Shiar, as much as she was there to stomp out the out of control fighting the Tal Shiar had caused.

From Selas point of view I could see her deciding she had allowed the Tal Shiar (a group she butted heads with...remember she attempted to assainate the leader of the Tal Shiar in the past and was vanquished for it) to go on for too long. She hated the Tal Shiar and figured them and the Reman rebellion would slug it out until both were severly weakened. Or one was destroyed and the other was weakened, either way shed stomp out two RSE enemies at once. But once the Federation got involved she had to make her move.

From what I could tell, she was being kidnapped by the Iconians. Obesik talks about how the Military is searching for her after you talk to him again at Haakona. Which hints she had nothing to do with the Iconians, but they took her possibly in an attempt to punish the Romulans. Since her disappearance, a number of different groups in the RSE has begun fighting for power.

Well, if she ran into the space dock, if it was an outside view means that she done suffocated in your game.

this episode was interesting it had cut scenes it had graphics it had ground and space combat. at first i thought it was a bug that you dont get b/o with you i did it with 2 other members. we couldnt call reinforcements but our security teams worked well when called in combat. the maze was super cool. on my first run with m y team we couldnt find the weather control so i didnt recieve the engineer accolade so im going to run it again. this whole series has been amazing. although i loved the other 2 searies as well. i still think my favorite is the halloween dividean searies one i forget the name of it. job well done.
