I don't have the time to spend more than a few hours at a time in this game as I support myself, yet spend a monthly subscription that supports the game, would like some way to generate a salary in ECs that I can use to buy in game stuff.
It would be like the resting experience in other MMO games, but being at end game with both Factions I have no use for experience points.
Just and idea so those fortunate enough to be supported by others or actually have the time to grind the game please be appreciative of your fortunate positions.

Um no offense, but dont put words in my mouth, please, thank you.
He wants to receive free energy credits when not logged into the game. Almost like a salary for not playing since he is paying a monthly subscription and cannot play as often as other people.
So those of us who work and support ourselves are some kind of special needs group?
So at the end of any exp-based rpg, MMO or not, i have no need for exp anymore and should instead be paid? (in-game money or otherwise).
I dont even know how to respond constructively to this. The next step would be, 'since we shell out money for this game and dont have time to play it, can we have auto-leveling characters so we dont have to grind?'
Trying to see it objectively, i wouldnt touch anything to do with money, even if its only in-game money. It can and will be abused, even if by a tiny minority and may upset an already shaky in-game economy.

Yea I got that... I was just refusing to believe someone might actually write that. I mean... that kinda beats the purpose of the game, no? Like - the more you play, the more you earn, just like in life.
I'm not a fan of rested in-game money - it warps the economy and everyone will adjust to the new influx of cash and stuff will just get more expensive on the exchange.
I'd rather see alternate advancement while logged in and while logged-out, getting rested merit boosts.
Also, I didn't like that Ben Affleck action-vehicle ruining Philip K. TRIBBLE's short story either.
Reworded initial entry to avoid helping out those that wish to speak for themselves.
Warping the economy as compared to the swords just introduced in Coliseum going for over a million credits?
I have no trouble earning in game credits, but it gets boring and I'd like to sit on my earned laurels as a VA and actually enjoy some exploration rather than grinding it for goods to sell.
If everyone has even more EC then exchange prices will just go up and up even more.
Im going at asume you fretting over exchange prices because if you cant scrape enought EC together for some Hypos then your doing it wrong
Plus EC is redundant - all the "good stuff" that is marginaly better than normal stuff and can be gotten at with crafting and badge/mark/emblem collecting easily.
You dont even need to go near the exchange, unless you want to pay for the convenience of someone elses find or time spent.
Now if your realy just having a moan because you dont get to play enough then Boo hoo !
Why do I have the feeling the OP is a t.... that which must not be named?
Economics 101: market value of the aforementioned sword is 600k or so. Give everyone free 200k and the price will jump up, because everyone will have more money to spend for it. That's called inflation. It's not a good thing.

Yep.
Pretty much this.
Anything that is both:

I am specifically looking for blue Coliseum swords that never seem to drop fro me?
There is currently no other way to achieve these items in game.
I have everything else, I've been here from the beginning.
Merely presenting a thought here, no offence intended:
But if you have everything else, and as you mentioned before you can grind some when you need to....
And if this was all really about the sword (which I must admit I'm chasing after as well)....
...Then why not post a thread about requesting that more types of bladed weapons become craft-able?
You'll probably get alot more support.
The money I pay monthly also supports the game and everyone's right to post in MY thread and ABUSE me without even considering the idea I put forth.

I hope cryptic makes them craftable soon so I can join the spot farmers and earn an "honest" living to get the required Data samples.
Thanks everyone for posting.
I considered what you wrote and found it... lacking. The sword in mention costs 600k - you can get that much in 20 mins grinding data samples, or you can run the mission 2x-3x, I did it 2x and I recieved a blue drop every turn.
The sword I mentioned goes for 1,400,000 ec at the cheapest.
I need two.
Are you talking about the [White] common sword or the [Green] nausicaan one?
The sword is found in last week's mission and you don't need to complete the mission to get it - just get to the part where the second doors open and the prisoners riot.

There's no need to mess up the economy with it.
The nausicaan as well as the tsunkatse sword can be in the blue variant, which is expensive. Not sure why OP can't buy the cheaper variant.
This game costs 50 cents a day to play. If you cant afford that, then dont play it. If you dont think the amount of time you get to spend per day or month is enough to justify 50 cents a day, then that is your choice as well. But none of that has anything to do with any special treatment your character should get in game.

Oh boy. You ARE aware that adding items to the game does not equal adding "free" cash for everyone?
If everyone is richer, the swords will just be increased to whatever the market can bear. Everything will just scale proportionately.
If you play PvP at endgame, that's 14k a match. Plenty of credits after an hour of matches.
I get 20.000 EC in "Free cash" every time I complete Coliseum.
No pay me in game currency for supporting the game monthly with real currency.

Will become like this, in any economy.
Seen the price of gold lately?
You are paid for supporting the game with real currency, it's called content.

Nooooooooooooo. Pay me to not play.
Where you see"fairness" I see lazyness and entitlement.

Well I didn't want to write it exactly like this... but yea this.
i have yet to get anything "blue" from the mission either, but its not like i cant complete it with what i have...
That and the startling realization that if everyone gets EC, then even more people would have enough to buy the items.
VERY sorry I bothered.
Will not happen again.
Farm the mission. You'll save money and can do it in under a month, right?
