Romulans to Join KDF/Remans to Join UFP

Being that the Romulans and Klingons traded tech with each other in the past during their Alliance*, it seems that the pieces in play are getting ready for a series of moves. This, coupled with the fact the devs are highly interested in "Factions within Factions", I propose the following change is about to occur:

The fragmented Romulans will join the Klingon Empire, while the Remans will join the United Federation of Planets.

Comments are welcome.

I propose that your proposition was already proposed by Cryptic last week, and said proposition was summarily screamed out of the forums by a large number of players (every single person subscribed to STO except for you) who had the better, smarter and wiser idea that the Romulans/Remans should be their own faction.

Also, reported you for spreading misinformation. Your thread title appears be claiming knowledge of Cryptic's future plans for STO - knowledge you do not have.

Damn...I guess I missed that. Oh well I hope the devs decide to go against popular opinion for once.

And anger the playerbase? Do you not know the first rule of selling a product? Find out what people want, and give it to them.

You don't decide what you think would be cool and then force people to buy it after they've told you they hate it.

No! I want the Romulans to be a faction of their own. And if they decide to split them up (which I hope they won't) IMO the Remans would be the better choice for the Klingons. Remans for me always seemed to be the "ultimate Fed haters", while there were always some Romulans who wanted peace with the federation and some of them even heleped and supported the Fed on some occasions.

But again: I still hope they will make the Romulans a faction of their own. Don't care if it takes a year or so (until the Klingons are completely finished) to get them in the game. But I don't want a messed up Romulan faction.

    ^^^^ This ^^^^^

And if anyone else was there to survive the NGE apocalypse in Star War Galaxies, this is how the end started. The proverbial "Seventh Seal" as it was that marked that SOE no longer cared AT ALL about the player base, causing a mass exodus.

We really, REALLY don't want that in STO, do we?

Aye...it is already a sad state when we have all these other subspecies {Gorn, Orions, other nameless bio matter} running around Qo'noS...I will be damned if I will tolerate Romulans running around the Great Hall lol...I kid of course, but I was always in the camp that hated the KDF being as diverse as Starfleet. I may be alone in this...but never took to Non-Klingon Generals running around. However, on the Starfleet side I have embraced infinite diversity in infinite combinations where it always made sense.

For game sakes...nothing has to make sense...Cryptic has proven this to be their greatest strength :-).

I always wondered what those thin and tall figures with enormous bald heads actually was doing for the Klingons. Are they changing light bulbs, or maybe their own heads glow in the dark? :p
