Okay just for fun (not a debate about if it should be or not) what would you imagine the T5 Connie's stats being?

Lieutenant-Commander: Engineering (Scott)
Lieutenant: Tactical (Sulu)
Lieutenant: Engineering (that's where I would put Uhura)
Ensign: Tactical (Chekov)
My take on it. And it would still use the leveling phasers of the current TOS Constitution. And no tracking torpedoes, that's for the refit.;)

I would love that.:D Even though they wouldn't mix that good at the moment. Of course the refit should get the red phasers from The Wrath of Khan. But I guess that will stay a dream. Before we get to refit the Constitution to a science vessel there'll be playable Megas-Turians.:D

Summons three additional Connies ala The Ultimate Computer
Basically, instead of making the ship itself more overtly powerful than the T1 version, simply make all the console slots universal and have an array of powers based on canon TOS mentions or incidents.
good ideas here... The only changes I would make would be 4 forward weapon and 3 aft. the saucer had 3 beam arrays on them and then add the torpedo launcher. As for special powers.......
Command Access code - Drop enemy shields for 5 seconds (this can already happen when using phasers and they disable a ship system) Obviously EmPS or ST could nuetralize it. And it needs to have a 5 minutes cool-down.
I do like the following torpedo idea and the universal console slots, but the ship should only have one of these powers. and the BO layout from K-tar seems the most appropriate.
I might say Uhura is Science instead of Engineering. However as she often assisted in repairs an arguement could be made either way, so go universal for that station. That would make it a Nebula though.

I thought about that BOff layout as well, but then I thought how great it would be to have more of an offensive style sci/escort instead of a mini support ship. I thought it could make a great counter to the Kar'fi Battle Carrier. Plus, this video gets me so excited for it being an offensive ship, it just screams BO3 or HYT3

I wanted to do a 4/3 weapons layout as well to give it an Escort feel but since I added the Tracking Torpedo and LtCm. Tac I was worried people might scream OP. Command Access Code sounds awesome! Just think of how that could be used for End Game Boss battles

So the ship is basically the same T1 but gets to showcase your improvements and abilities.
So say, for example, it has a T1 number of consoles but they're all universal and it has T1 slots but 6-7 BO slots. The ship itself is inferior to a T5 but you get the ability to use it better through non-mechanical improvements.

Special abilities are usually paid for with consoles, since the newest Galaxy-X update there's no ship that exchanges a weapon slot for a special ability.^^ However, we should try to stay a bit within the established system. If we give it a science commander slot it should also have the 3/3 weapon set up, 4 science consoles and +15 Auxiliary power. An alternate idea for special abilities: Give the Constitution 4 science consoles, 2 tactical consoles and 3 engineering consoles and make the special abilities slotable like the MVAM of the Prometheus is going to be. I'm not a that big fan of the command access codes. That's something for special episodes where you fight against other Federation ships.

This ship could be such a neat cloak hunter with high sci/tac skills. Tracker Torpedo and innate cloak detect with BO3 :eek:! Heck you could even have MES3 and really surprise someone.

Same stats as the T1 version mostly but maybe with multiple powers without the loss of console slots to make up for its deficiencies.
