The Engine was talked about and the set of tools, from the sounds of it persistant dailies did not seem like they could be made using the Foundry from what was discussed. It was opened up so any possible answer could be given to best address the question.
I apologise for any offence caused, this was not the intent.
I saw the original question, and I would have answered it the same way. The gist of the answer was that I probably wouldn't use the Foundry Tools to make any content (patrols..etc included), mainly because I can already use our regular toolset from both home and work.
The Foundry Tools are great, but very limited in thier scope compaired to the dev version that I use everyday. I already work from home in my spare time quite often and when I do I use the dev version of our tools.
As far as the PVP question, I wasn't just avoiding it. I don't have anything to do with the PVP portion of our game so I couldn't really answer it. There may be a vaild answer for that question, I just don't know what it is.

Fair enough, thanks for your answer either way
I liked the interview as a whole though.
For patrol-type missions, like the dailies, would the Foundry ever be considered by the devs or at least from non-content guys trying to get in on the action?
Yeah, I think that was just a joke. These entries were fake, for the most part (Mark and I being president are in the works
This is finished; we are not releasing names so it does not affect voting
lol the president thing i would be okey with (gonna leave it with that since we not allowed to discuss politics hehe) and i hope the app was a joke but still as a warning anything outisde cryptic that require anything about ur account or other info is a RED WARNING flag :P

Forget that, lol! I don't want that responsibility - I would never get to play STO
