Strange...

I play a tactical officer of the Federation. And I do have a strange problem. On away team missions, I cannot had equipment beyond the 7th box...Each time I try to put something else, it replaces the 7th. It's a bit boring, I hope I'm not alone with this "bug". Problem is that the 6 first boxes are for skills...So I have only one equipment available...

You can create two more rows. Just click on corner and select 3. This isn't a bug.

Okay...I'll try this tonight. But the fact is that I still have free boxes, which I cannot fill...

The STO UI is notoriously buggy. If I was to select one thing for a complete overhaul, it would be the UI system. Don't worry you aren't alone with such issues.

Also make sure you didn't click the lock bar option.

If you're trying to add devices, you'll need to do the following to get them on your action bar.

    1. Equip them to your character (press "U" to open your character window, then place the item(s) in one of the four "Device slots")
    2. Press "P" to open your ability menu, and move the corresponding icon from that window to your action bar.

You cannot simply move items from your inventory to your action bar. If you've done the above and are still having problems, I suggest filing a GM ticket and explaining your issue with as much detail as possible.
