These weeklies have been amazing. So amazing that they did such an awesome job on all the missions. Well. Like other Vice Admirals and LT Generals we like doing things to gain our emblems.
Which would you prefer?
A Shuttle Daily where you continue to explore the Vault or another abandoned space station
A Melee Daily where you fight against warriors from different races like Breen Thots and Elite Tactical Borg.
Which sounds best? I'm just goin off an Idea. So lets hear your responces.
Well, killing animals in an arena for fun doesnt seem like something a Federation Officer would do. So, they would have to rework the concept for ti to make sense on the Federation side but it could definitely work on the Klingon side.
A shuttle daily would be best as other than that one mission, we currently have no use for them.

but to get to the Iconion Gate... I might just do that
How about a pirate gang, like the orions from Mine Enemy distract your ship and secretly beam you down to a planet. Then they force you to fight in an arena against several other creatures/aliens.
--first round: 3 Sehlats
--second round: two Breen
--third round: 6 (worm monsters)
--fourth round: A gorn commander
My adrenalin was actually pumping in the Vault... going in with minimal weaponry, not sure what dangers lie ahead, having to ninja-sneak past an escort... good times.
In Dstahl's twitter sneak peak of Coliseum (that also showed a targeting reticule view), you could see in his mission tracker that there was also a Shuttle Daily. It was said just before this weekly series started that we would be able to craft the Delta Flyer (and other small craft), via special anomalies/data/schematics that we'd pick up from these types of dailies. The shuttle dailies were supposed to go in with episode 3 or 4.
Well, episode 4 has passed, hopefully it gets added in sometime before the series ends...
I'm not talking about Crafting a shuttle dailie. We know that's going to happen for the Delta Flyer[And hopefully other types of shuttles for people who bought the delta flyer]. Im talking about getting out of your big ship. going into your shuttle and doing something that is required and hands you emblems once it is completed for VA's.
Using The Vault for shuttle dailies would be a great idea.
But why stop there? From the size of the vault you could do a whole series of missions in there. Make it an exploration zone. Take the shuttle in, fly around doing certain objectives and then have to beam into sections of the station for others.

Yeah, I agree. It was such an immense and new type of zone that it is hard to believe they would just use it for one mission and never return to it.

If you look at Stahl's mission tracker in that Coliseum preview, the Shuttle Daily and the Delta Flyer construction missions are two separate things. As in, there is a shuttle daily, and there is a shuttle construction mission, which you'd probably get the mats for by doing the shuttle daily, but doing the shuttle daily doesn't necessarily mean you're building a shuttle, it could just be a daily that you do in a shuttle.
Until they make it so you can launch a shuttle from your ship, no more shuttle missions. It's a pain in *** to have to go back to switch ships for 1 mission, then again when you are done. This keeps me from ever wanting to replay "The Vault".

Holodeck simulation of ancient battles. Worf did it, some of the other officers did it (albeit usually on a literary basis - Robin Hood, Beowulf, off the top of my head) - Basically there's plenty of reasons a Fed captain might spend some time stabbing things... but it probably wouldn't be real.
A shuttle daily would also be neat, especially once we have our fighters.

Could not agree more.
Also, maybe someone other than our CAPTAIN should be doing shuttle mission.
DATA: Sir, atmospheric radiation will prohibit the use of transporters. However, a shuttlecraft should be able to land safely on the planet's surface.
RIKER: Alright. Mr. Worf, meet me in Shuttlebay 2, we'll disembark at once.
PICARD: Delay that order, Mr. Worf! Number One, I'll be taking the shuttle MYSELF.
RIKER: Captain? You can't seriously be suggesting that out of the one thousand officers on this ship, you, the ship's Captain, will be flying down into this dangerous mission in a shuttlecraft. It goes against every regulation and standard of protocol in the book!
PICARD: It's my call to make, Number One. I'll be going. Helm! Set a course...FOR EARTH!
DATA: Earth, Captain?
PICARD: Yes. I'm going to fly the Enterprise back to Earth. Beam aboard Earth SPace Dock, and then fly my shuttle all the way back to where we are right now. You'll all wait for me at Earth.
RIKER: Aye, sir! Would you like us to wait for at Earth Space Dock, or shall we wait for you in the cave where you keep your bat-TRIBBLE?
Right now, I like the melee daily idea. I would like the shuttle idea more if I did not have to occasionaly reset my power tray from changing ships. Even better if I could just access my shuttle "on the fly" so to speak.

Why not both??:)
