The devs have said that they intend to introduce a type of fighter as the Klingon version of the Delta Flyer.
The Klingons have a version of the Captain's Yacht, which is listed on the ship screen but not available yet. And the Toron appears to be their version of the Runabout. What they don't have is a version of the Type 8. (Which if they're going to lack something, is probably the best choice)
and make a darn shuttle bay on our ships!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
we shouldnt have to go to base to get it ,, we should be able to park out ship and fly one out our tail wene done go to ship and dock

Enough "!"? DStahl has already said he would like to make it to where we walk down to our shuttlebay and launch from there. Chill and spend more time reading the interviews.
I personally want an Aeroshuttle more than any other. I love the Aeroshuttle. It's a pity they never used it in thew show. They made a launch sequence and everything.

Yeah, the Klingons are supposed to get a fighter when the Fed's get the Peregrine I believe. I seem to recall a dev mentioning those two would come out in March, but I could be wrong.
Much more important than shuttles at this point is reasons to actually use them. The Vault was a start, but thats just one mission. So my feelings on this are pretty much the same as with ship interiors; give them an actual purpose, then I'll worry about how they look.

I agree. IMO, there needs to beat least one mission involving shuttlecraft in future Series. This should be easy for Series 4 if it is indeed going to be about the Maquis, since the Maquis use small vessels like Peregrines. Also, once functional shuttlebays are added so we can launch from our ships, I'd like to see some dailies and exploration missions that require the use of shuttlecraft.

Also, the Featured Series FAQ says there will be some crafting research that requires the use of shuttlecraft in the future.

I definitely agree. Ship interiors were a nice aesthetic but the functionality has taken a long, long time to catch up.
Plus 1 on the Nova Waverider, that thing looks amazing. Also plus one on the Peregrine, it's a really cool looking little ship.
When shuttle bays are finally realized, it would be awesome if we had the option for our ship to come with a "stock" shuttle. For instance TOS connie should come with it's own integrated Class F shuttle. Sovereign classes should come with a Sovvy type shuttle, and Galaxy classes should come with the TNG shuttles. This is all a lot of work, I realize, but wouldn't it be cool? It would also be interesting to be able to select more than one type of shuttle from your ship, so if you have a runabout and a Delta Flyer, you could see them in your bay and choose between them.
I'm not certain of this...but it would be interesting if they could allow for captain's yachts to come with ships also, since they're integrated into the design. The Galaxy has one, the Intrepid has one, the Sovvy has one, the Nova has one, as do most modern starship designs.
It would be cool to get some idea of when the shuttles will be craftable. I assume they have a master plan they are working on, and it's just taking a while to get the awesome crafting quests finished up.
Hmm, I should have reworded my point better, I think it would be cool to have captains' yachts that are attached to the ship, and when they're launched, you get a nice little animation where it separates from your ship.

Yeah, I wonder how they're going to handle the Captain's Yacht, or pretty much any shuttle on the smaller classes. I'd of course love to see it launch from the bottom of larger ships, and I'd love to see an animation of shuttles launching from the shuttlebay once it's added to ship interiors. But what should be done with the Defiant. It only had one shuttle, a Type 10. It was specially designed to fit into the Defiant, much like the Waverider and Aeroshuttle were designed to fit into the Nova and Intrepid classes.
isn't the aeroshuttle just a captains yacht but on an intrepid?
and fighters aren't shuttles, and should be restricted to carrier-class ships I think.
I think the devs have already mentioned that they plan to add a fighter for both Feds and Klingons, and that it'll work the same as a shuttle, except with cannons instead of a phaser array S.

I thought they said after the 3rd episode of te current FE series was released and completed?

At least add the Type 6, Type 9, and Type 10.

Yeah. They need to set it up like it is in the shows, with shuttlecraft being registered to their home ship.

The Vault, that is
One doesn't correct the Grand Nagus, one merely requests a payoff.
YES! This bugged me when I had to name her. Shuttles have no USS.
But over all, the vault was an excellent start to the use of Shuttlecraft! Keep them coming!
I would like some of these!

Good list, i would welcome the introduction of such shuttle systems on the both factions.

Techinically it was a specially designed Runabout for use as a sort of Captain's Yacht, yes. Same goes for the Nova classes Waverider.
edit: Whoops, I don't know why I just put that on two seperate posts.
