Ah. Considering all the talk about rabbits around here, I wondered if that's what you were talking about.

    What kind of dog?

Dogs are too slurpy for toucan... licking without drool is the only acceptable licking.

Depends on the dog, really. Some of the smaller breeds aren't exactly slobber wells.

Does this need to get graphic? Change of subject! Sally is doing great. She is adjusting well to her new home and so far has chewed nothing. *dances*

Oh good, at least I'm not the only one who uses human names for their pets. Even if it's "just a dog"

She's a yellow lab. Found by ASPCA prego and starving in a field. All the puppies were adopted fast but she was in poor health. Much better now and very smart.

Well, ok. Labs are cool. Had a Half Dane/Half lab when I was growing up, sharp as a button and very gentle considering her size (unless of course you got between her and Mom and she didn't know you:) )

If I would get a dog, I would totally go for a Corgi.

My dream rabbit would be an American Fuzzy Lop.

Very good dogs. We had a Golden Retriever/Yellow Lab mix who was as sweet and as mellow as any dog could be. We called her Liberty, after former President Gerald Ford's dog.

Weird, but awesome. Ever seen Cowboy Bebop? One of the main cast is the 'Data Dog' Ein. Ein is probably the smartest cast member. He can play chess and hack computers like a pro.

    i want a welsh corgi...

funny story, the welsh have a legend about corgis. Corgis have a little piece of white fur at the back of their neck, and as legend has it, fairies would sit on that white tuft as though it were a saddle and ride the dogs around the country side.

Hmmmm... That explains alot about the Welsh. Of course the last time I saw something on fairies in Wales they were on a killing spree, and kidnapping young girls

From what I understand, the fairies of folk lore weren't the small, cute, attractive 2" tall humanoids with butterfly wings that we associate them with today. Most of them were actually human size and were best avoided at all costs.

A good example would be the Torchwood Episode "Small Worlds". Not gonna go out in Welsh woods after that one, and between that and Dr. Who's "Blink", I'm not sure it's safe anywhere in the UK :)
