Hey all

Not sure if this is the right area but I was just thinking to myself..

If reaching max level gave you the ability to create a new character at say... Lt Commander 1

I know this might encourage me to purchase additional slots if the first few hours of grind were removed and I could quickly pick my own custom ship.

Just a thought to throw out there! :cool:

    That is kind of the idea behind the first officer promotion system. (in development)

    But I don't really like any of my BOs enough to want to play as them :D

    Besides I'd really rather seem them allow you to promote your BOs to captain and let them use some of the ships from inventory to help you in space combat.

    This is not a hard concept really? They help you on the ground already so if you match them to ships of their own type you could activate their powers as needed, a good boon for solo players as I have a much better experience playing the game in groups this would let them see what they are missing.

    A possible limit would be you couldn't have more then one of each type so if you were cruiser you had to bring in and escort and a sci

    To avoid people going around with a group of 5 escorts... though that might look pretty awesome :cool:

    I think that's how most of us wanted the game to turn out if we going to be mostly admirals/generals. If you're a flag officer, you might as well have more than one ship at your command. It seems a bit foolish to be sending flag officers to be doing patrol missions.

    For what it is worth, I feel once one has a toon maxed out on an account, one should be able to forego the pain of doing the intro and tutorial again for alts.
