Some bugs with interiors

First let me say, I like the new interiors for ships. It would be nice to be able to customize them a bit, and I realize they're still on Tribble, so I thought I'd post a few screens to illustrate some problems. A picture is worth a thousand words, after all.

This is a mass of crew that are stuck outside the Small Captain's Quarters.

We've been saying the interiors are too big. Here's an example of how. Notice that the ottoman is too far away .

Another example. The "door" would be nearly 20 FEET high. It's positively CAVERNOUS. The scale of the whole room needs to be made smaller.

As you enter the Captain's quarters on the small interior, the decor vanishes.

A very nice painting. Why is there a large pylon in the middle of it?

In the small interior, the crew feel it's ok to wander into the captain's quarters. In other interiors, they walk up to the door frequently, opening it. Neither should happen.

As I say, good work so far, definitely a step in the right direction.

Something else. The Klingon mess hall - there will be some very hungry Klingons around, unless they plan to STAND when they eat. Try sitting in a chair at the table, and you'll see it's freaking HUGE. Your head barely peeks over the top when you're seated.

This is ANOTHER example of the ridiculous scaling.

    Really, no comments?

I swear, sometimes I think I'm typing in tongues, or something. No one ever replies to my threads.

How do you know your character is 5'10"?

Also, this type of thing is probably better to post in tribble forums.

I made him 5'10 in character creation.

I looked for tribble forums, but didn't see them. I'll look again.

Yea, things are out of scale... They make these rooms to fit a lot of people in them... But every thing should be in the right scale to the person's normal height.

It's really silly many times and some Star ships are not the big to have many decks tall.

That's base height, not the actual height.

I made one a little while ago: http://forums.startrekonline.com/showthread.php?t=168819
