Have you ever noticed that in almost every Trek film a good guy dies ? or someone on the Fed side.

In some its almost as if they are having a 'who can make the most deaths in a film' contest

TMP Transporter accident, Decker and that bald chick and a whole station of feds WOW they must have clocked up the death quota on that film. Any more ?

TWOK SPOCK  and some poor Scientist gets Vaporized. Not forgetting the good Captain who shoots himself. Oh and the other scientists

Search for Spock. Jims son (my dad won't watch this movie he hates people dying)

Voyager Home. ! WINNER !..... No ONE dies  Well unless they suffocate on the ships that lose power.

I'll leave the rest upto you guys ^_^ and thats not counting the bad guy deaths

Which movie is it where the Hobus star goes nova and wipes out half the quadrant including the Romulan homeworld(s)? That's gotta be up there on the body count list...

Oh wait, good guy/Fed deaths - nevermind.

I am wracking my brain (probably because it has been blocked) but other that Anthony Zerbe (who only barely qualifies as a good guy) di any good guys die?

And while we're on it, Why does Picard ever let Riker take command. After Generation, I would have thought he would have learned that any time the Bearded One takes over, the Enterprise loses its warp core and/or gets blowed up.

I think TMP has the least actual deaths..

The 2 on the transporter pad, the bald chick and...I think that's about it

Of course, the K'T'Ingas in the beginning, but that's not Fed/Good Guy deaths.

The Final Frontier just has the one death... Spock's brother is all I can think of.

Edit* And it's questionable if you would consider him a good guy or not... he mind TRIBBLE people and ninja'd the Enterprise to go through the great barrier.

"Your pain runs deep, why don't you share it with me." No, thank you...
