Any Info about The Captain's Log ?

Has anything been said about the content that will be accessible via web when the Captain's Log site launches with Season One??

Personally,, I hope to be able to access my skill list for both my captain and BO's (along with current points), as well as a listing of your currently-active ship and it's load out.

As an added plus, the ability to read and modify your in-game captain's log and supplemental would be great, that way, we can update information while on the go, as well as view information on our characters when we're planning strategies at lunchtime at work.. :)

I hope more information will be given soon

    it's already working (check patch notes) but I can't find it though :(

    This is a new web feature that the startrekonline.com team is working on. They have a bug with your character's headshot not showing up that the need some network technicians to resolve. Once they have it ironed out, they said they would turn it on and announce the feature formally.

    We are pushing hard for getting it live tomorrow. FYI: this web update will include:

    - Character Profiles
    - Captians log (with the ability to add your own supplemental entries)
    - Searching for other player's characters

    Excellent. Looking forward to checking this out.
    Will this include any "social" site stuff like twitter? Or is this only a webpage on the STO site?

    Sweet! I love this!

    Now, my question is and you may not really know the answer - any idea if an iPhone app will be launched to link with this? I know CO has an iPhone app, hoping for STO too.

    I wonder if they will fix the linking system soon too, then that would be 110% awesome instead of just a measly 100 xD

    Would we be able to get an update about this feature? Really looking forward to it, as is everyone else I'm sure!

    Diamonds? dstahl? coderanger? Phoxe? Anyone?

    I understand this is a pretty complicated set of features to integrate, so I'm not expecting any miracles. Just wanted to know if I should expect it later today and plan to invest a lot of time playing around with it this weekend, or if I should more reasonably expect it for sometime early next week.

    Thanks to all you tireless programmy peoples for trying so hard to push this out today! I hope you succeed! But next week won't be the end of the world either, just please let us know.

    Fair enough, thanks for your hard work and for letting us know!

    I do hope that at least somewhere down the line, once the Twitter/Facebook/etc. functionality has been turned on, that the web-based character profiles/bios and the in-game 'sharing' stuff will be integrated together! Perhaps your tweets sent via the game interface could be considered/designated (somehow) to be 'in character', and so the web bio page could have a tweet stream? Fun stuff like that anyway, for which the technical basis already exists (i.e. I don't expect much Dev time to be wasted on such frivolities!) but that pulls everything together more; great for role-players!

    Thanks for the work. I also have been waiting for some time on this; so much so that a I haven't touched a character or two til it was implemented. I probably have the the longest serving ensign in the whole fleet! (Including the Klingons! :P ).

    This is a nice surprise (and I just linked a previous answer in another thread many hours ago).

    Of course, now I am melancholy, because I was thinking of going for a world's record or something! :rolleyes: Or doing something else to promote the character(s) in question (one I plan on being humorous).

    So take your time. Please give us some good instructions on how to edit/post/color the pages and stugg like that there. :) I can be patient for a bit longer, since it is coming sooner than I expected.

    Actually its already in. And rather nifty.

    edit: nevermind. It was in. But now its gone. I must have caught it during a seekrit test. Well it will be nifty when its back in. :D
