Can we now finally get some real pvp? FvF i mean
Now we can have actuall tactics and formations, and even flanks? not just ball and wait for the klingon stealth attack?
Now we can actually have large variety of ships in battle? not just Bop bop bop bop bop bop that all use the same broken setup
VM nerf is on the way, SNB nerf is on the way, im glad klingon pvp is dead because it was TERRIBAD pvp, it was like sitting in stranglethron waiting for a rogue to pop
hurray for fun pvp, reroll if u want to enjoy it aswell, or klinK on to your overpowered ships and have fun fighting only yourselves and see how [edit] stealth vs stealth is!

this does not just apply to feds (tho i have seen one or two this definately doesn't apply to on both sides but they are rare) it also applies to a lot of klingons, laughably the ones who smack talk about having rolled the feds appear to have contributed less than the average fed player.
pvp would have been fun if you actually brought some skill to it but you didn't and you died, then cried to make it as bland as possible, which you have succeeded in doing, so it seems you have skill at something at least.
So if Klinks are so OPed how can this team continually win!!! And to be honest it was refreshing. It is proof that klingons or not as OPed as you think.
Both populations have a valid opinion on what PVP should be, except these conceptions can't mix.
One want difficult hardcore challenging PVP, second want instant fun, no comitment.
So, putting both of them on the same play ground always end in frustration for both sides
Which translate on forums on lots of L2P, OP, Cheated ...
If Someone can find a way to have both on the same game playing together or not, he wins the Jackpot.
Feds can beat klingons. I've played cap and hold maps (5v5 and 10v10 full teams) where we have beaten the klinks 1200 - 0. Ofc i'va aslo had games where we lose 1200-0 but thats generally because you get Fed players who full impulse around on there own then QQ when 5 klinks insta gib them....... you'd think they'd learn but no, respawn>full impulse>dead>qq repeat. It sickens me tbh.
I don't necessarily agree with the OP part you said, but the above I definitely agree with. I'm looking forward to "true" space battles where more than one tactic can be used. The Fed Ball got old after the first week.
you must not be T5 yet. if you were, you would see more than just BoPs -- there would be carriers too.
in any event, I don't think FvF is going to be quite as good as you're expecting, unless you set up private matches. it will be just as bad as FvK, only in a different way. instead of it being like sitting in Stranglethorn waiting for a rogue to pop, it will be like sitting in Stranglethorn waiting for a shaman gank group to overrun you. they'll focus-fire you down in seconds, while chain-healing themselves, then be away to hit their next target in moments. balling up will be your only defense against them.
in my experience, FvK is fairly well balanced (and by "fairly well" I don't mean "good", I mean "I've seen MMO developers do a lot worse"). yes, there are some issues, but they are primarily skill-related and a problem for both sides. I will certainly agree that in T1, klingons have an extreme advantage because they start at level 6 with a full set of gear that most feds won't be able to match until level 10 or 11. and in T5, 4+ carriers in a group are very overpowered. but in the middle tiers (T3/T4 especially) things are remarkably balanced. if only you could turn off xp gain and stay there forever...
anyway, if you find space pvp to be unenjoyable, there's always ground pvp. ground pvp is *very* fair because there are virtually no differences between the sides. everyone gets essentially the same weapons, shields, armor and kits as the other side gets. the only thing preventing it from being perfectly fair is the ridiculous queueing system that creates unbalanced teams so easily, but at least that problem affects both sides, so everyone on both sides eventually gets to feel what it's like to be outnumbered and spawn-camped.

You do not know you well as in the klingon ships... BOP's are used by all classes.
a good team needs battlecruisers & co in the fleet.... learn more about klingons.

Ho I have no problems with that either. It's just being crushed in 2 secs 25 times a game is more than losing.
And, it's not fun, and FUN is why I bought the game. Because I have a big ...., a beautiful wife a nice car and nothing to prove to anyone.
PVP video games are like a turnament where Junior grade Football players are opposed to National teams.
And guys from national teams enjoy crushing kids on a regular basis ...

how often did you play fighting resources? 90% of Ressource Fights are balanced.
5% was 10K vs 2F
5% was 10F vs 2K
dont play cracked planet and try ressource harvesting.
The borg zone ? I was there 10 mn ago and Klings were spawn killing. It's an american thing to think fairplay is a rude word and Victory at any means and any cost is valuable ?

Indeed the onbly one where cloaking is not decisive. Though carriers becomes more and more a problem, when there is 2/3 and they spawn like 25 objects my PC go laggy.
OP is 2 things.

2) A real bad player who has gone though alot of tissue boxes.

Most Feds are going to think it is a field day, but that will change.
Also remember, those Fed teams you are going against are players you would have been teamed with or are going to be teamed with sometime. Something to think about when you happen to steamroll the other team.
first... why make yet another thread about VM and SNB? The only thing I have seen from a dev is it is being looked at, link to a dev saying its getting changed or STFU about it already.
secondly, if more you really feel the klingon ships was sooo OP chances are you would jump to the FOTM for yourself.

2) They don't accuse others of cheating
3) Theres not this US and THEM mentality.
4) When the team fails, they don't blame the other side, they blame their own team mate for failing to carry their own weight, or failing to understand how to pvp, or understand what they should use to counter what.
but here in STO, its all about "ME" vs, "THEM", vs "US"
bascially theres alot of players in STO pvp , be it space or ground that cries "foul", accuse others of cheating, and call one faction OP.....(unfortunately theres only 2 sides to this game atm...Star Fleet, and the Klingon Empire)

EDIT: I play klingon, right now about LtCmdr.
From what I have been seeing playing my Lt. Commander alts, the Klingons have a lot of people who do nothing but complain in that tier. I think a number of the Feds in that tier are experienced Klingons playing alts or experienced players in general...though I do run into my fair share of Feds who are mostly just standing around.
sorry for your luck. I find it about 50/50 TBH. I play in T2/T3/T5 currently. Try to find teams that you can group up with and communicate, teamwork wins the game every time.
That was in a response to a tactical officer who thinks SNB is not overpowered, he is indeed an idiot, and cruisers are indeed the WORST ships in the game right now in pve, and siting ducks in pvp like ALL fed ships
And no one ever whined about escorts or cruisers......EVER. and no they DONT do more damage than you when bop has the handicap of stealth, stealth enables you to do 5x the damage of escorts thanks to element of easy surprise
U want to bring up klingon cruisers, the ones that can mount cannons have more crew and turn fastr than fed cruisers, i dont think you WANT me to talk about anything else bop bop bop because you KNOW it will get you nerfed, but alas cryptic has already seen the light @ fire at will, I LOLED
klingons are dead now because they are broken, period, has nothing to do with skill or anything else
if you want klingon pvp to not die, start asking for cryptic to nerf your ships untill they are balanced, and not whine like their is no problem, or else you will just slowly get more and more nerfs and FvF will continue to prevail

back to BOP:
i dont know, BOPs will be nerfed... but try play a klingon BOP and you willl see, that ship are balanced... cloaking: 0 shield ... decloak: 0 shield first seconds and 0 energy on shield powers... than Tractors beam etc. etc.... whe you restealth, all incoming dmg (also long flying torpedos) hitting your hull. You cant simple restealth when you wants...or you will die and the fed says: thx for the easy kill.
when you dont bring down the BOP shield, another enemy heal the BOP :cool:
BOP also got less weapons than escorts or cruisers... less aux, less crew etc etc... make a lvl 1 klingon and read the ship description.
try play klingons and you will see it.
when klingons are really op, why it has so few? In other Games, OP-Classe was the most played chars.
Most federation players try to play klingons and see that they are not so incredibly strong.
why klingons feared FvsF? 1 Reason: Klingons can only does PVP for Leveling.
My advice to you Luke: test klingons to RA5... than you will wake up.
