Deflector dish?

So I have a deflector dish like most of you guys. If this is so... why am I bumping into, and getting caught behind every little meterior and peice of scrap metal?

Would anyone else like functional deflector dishes that actually push TRIBBLE out of your way?

    Used to not bump into them but instead fly through them but players wanted to use them for cover. If you moved them out of the way it wouldn't make very good cover :)

    hmm cover is good. but im talking about these little bitsy peices that provide no cover but get in the way. Some kind of sliding scale or on/off switch for delfector dish would be handy.
