Numbers in Queue Are Fake.

SystemSystem Member, NoReporting Posts: 178,019 Arc User
I got DCed, logged back in, got to be number 1087 in queue. Cancelled it, logged in again and was number 71 out of 71. Cancelled, logged in, was number 604 of 604. Now, either everyone else is cancelling and re-queuing or the queues are fake.

    "Your a moron."

The irony is delicious. The data isn't being updated either.

Your the moron if you think you can go from 1087 to 71 in queue withing a click of a button as the OP says. Yes data is updated we all know this... but not this quick is the point he is making. Dont be quick to judge others when you dont undertstand the point they are making.

After waiting 15+ minutes at around number 780, I canceled my login attempt, logged in again... didn't even hit a queue and am now playing again.

Thanks for the tip; went from 482 to 82 in 30 seconds with your method.

I'm not sure how I feel about the concept of a queue in the first place. I mean, I do pay for the privilege of playing the game in the first place so why should I have to queue at all? If I'm paying the price I'm paying then there should be enough capacity to ensure I don't take my pound elsewhere or just go and play on the xbox instead.

Then again, on the other hand, if having a queue means I can get a stable experience when I do eventually get in then it's worth having... for now.

Maybe I'm just lucky. I have not ever hit this queue everyone speaks of.

    Regardless though, its BS.

Perhaps its a blessing that I do not have time to play on the weekends.

Yeah, the queue system is still buggy, I think.. that or it works in a way we're not aware of.

There could well be separate queues. Fact is if there's only one queue for the one server in the game, it would be very problematic for them for them to give a count. With all players being on one server the frequency of people logging in and out is incredibly high. You could well have a queue of 5000 one minute, and none the next. But people won't understand why and they'll see "5000" and freak out.

Presumably you're an adult and I believe you'll agree that name calling is inappropriate behavior. But, do feel free to correct me if I used the contraction "you're" incorrectly.
