BO skills question

I know we only got certain amount to train for our captain skills, is there set amount for BO? Like say i got torpedo spread I to max and later i change it to fire at will I those 9 points are they lost and never get them back or able to replace them? Like if i hit max level and made several mistakes in skill setting but now nothing i can do cause all points are used up or do they still get points as i do quests to use.

    You will always earn Bridge Officer Skill Points. Only Captain Skill Points are capped.

    oh good thanks for info i kepted readin and re readin skills goin omg dont make mistake only so many points xD.
