So did you fix them yet? 3-4 Patches, and 3 Threads later, I still haven't seen any mention of whether or not Critical chance and severity from equipped Energy Weapons, Torpedo Launchers, Rifles, Pistols, Mine Launchers, etc are working.
It'd be nice to know if they're actually functional or not despite not increasing your corresponding stats in the Captain window at all. The only item that boosts these stats that works is Body Armor. So what's the verdict? Working? Not working? What? Or am I going to have to post about this like 20 more times, and 10x into Live release before someone investigates it?
