Discrepancy in events between PC and console

turbo2toneturbo2tone Member Posts: 3 Arc User
I'm aware console/PC don't have the majority of the events at the same time. But what's the reasoning why PC has more specific events then console?

Afaik we already missed out on an upgrade event which I can somewhat understand as it would result in scheduling conflict/too many active events at once during the summer event.

But seeing PC's announcement for yet another Phoenix event while console hasn't had one for over 3 months, really stings.

I truly hope under DECA's reign we (console) will receive some love, some much needed bug fixing and fair treatment in relation to the PC platform.

Firstly welcome to the forum. This is however not a bug. Events are released on PC first with console following a month or so there after. @baddmoonrizin could you do the honors and move this please. Grateful to you as always. :)

PC and Console always get the same events, but as mentioned by eazzie above, there is always a delay in them coming to console.

As mentioned, the delay is usually around one month, but this isn't always the case.

PC and Console get Christmas & New Year Sales in late December - having them one month later for Console at the end of January is complete nonsense. This can have a knock-on effect putting some Events back another month or so, and may even disrupt the order the Events happen.

Apologies for posting in the wrong section and thanks for the welcome.

I am aware there is a delay in events. When it comes to Phoenix events, PC is 1st, console follows a while after.

However in this case PC had their last Phoenix event on July 23rd, where console had their last Phoenix event on June 5th.

So with delay both have referred to, console should've had a Phoenix event before PC's currently announced one as a delay on PC's July 23rd Phoenix event. But since that's not the case, imho we got passed.

Phoenix events might also be done to get people to spend more dil, helping the health of the dil exchange. PC needs that more than console so it wouldn't surprise me if PC got 12 events for every 10 on console.

Just save your dil and UR tokens and the event will come back eventually.

    Thanks for moving the post.

If this was done due to the dil-zen exchange, which without communication is mere speculations, will only help for a very limited amount of time without taking the root cause away.

Plus, going of this logic, the fact console is currently also at the 500 limit could've been prevented by not skipping previous Phoenix event.

I'll leave at this. I know support often states to post on the forums, which I now did. Hoping this will catch DECA's eyes and they'll either manage player expectations next time or make sure console isn't skipped.
