    Brotherhood of the Sword Tips

When deactivating a device you must not draw aggro, fire your weapon, or use any abilities. This will cause an interruption and prevent you from deactivating your device. It's best to get behind the Blue Field at the device, the NPCs can't see you behind the Blue Field.

Elite TFO: In the second and third areas there are two objectives each. Though it states on the Mission Objective window that these objectives are "optional" on Elite they are not. These objectives must be completed "before" deactivating the devices to advance the next area or you will immediately fail the mission. Watch the Mission Objective window as you complete each objective their color will change to green.

    The second area:
    There are two fire teams.
    • The first team is located on the left wall at a doorway. You just need to defeat all enemy NPCs there.
    • The second team is located at the far wall’s back doorway. There will be a click at their location allowing you to activate them. Escort the team past the battle so they can escape.
Once both objectives have been completed you can deactivate the devices.

    The third area:
    There are two objectives.
    • “Freed the Targs” is located on the right side of the map in a fenced pit. You’ll need to go to the gate and click on the button to allow them to escape.
    • "Escort the Operative" is a little bit more intense. On the left side of the wall, just past the group defending the triggering device, the Operative is behind some rubble. You must click on the button to activate him. He will follow you and only you. The issue is that the operative will stop and fight anything near him. Make sure you clear the immediate area of Enemy NPCs otherwise the operative will keep fighting. The operative can be killed. Using the "Ball of Lighting" on the group protecting the triggering device would be very useful. Teammates should help clear out the NPCs.

Guide the operative onto the stage, down the hallway behind the stage, to a door located far back of the hallway. Remember, he will only follow you. Killed everything in your path and make sure the Operative is following you.
Again, once both objectives have been completed you can deactivate the devices. Everything else will be just normal defeat the enemies and deactivate devices.

Tip: Advance and Elite TFO defeat all enemy NPC before triggering a device is preferred. Once you trigger the device more enemy NPCs will keep spawn in. Not careful this could end up overwhelming you. A team with endgame players can handle this easily. But on what we call a "pug run" (pickup game) unless you get lucky and have a couple of endgame players this could be a problem.

Endgame players are experience in both ground and space. Play on Elite Difficulty and prefer doing only Elite TFO. They know how each mission works. Endeavor points are all maxed out and have what is known as High DPS.

It's worth noting that for a speedy Normal run (6-8 minutes or less) during the current Demon Hunting event, the first four areas should prioritise deactivating the Iconian Devices before attacking enemies.

One person should deactivate the main, central device which will reveal the other two for the rest of the team to deactivate.
(There's optional objectives too, so entirely up to the Team if they want to do these.)

If everyone's focussed and paying attention, it's possible to get through those first four areas within 2 or 3 minutes.

The final battle with the Harbinger of M'Tara should be pretty quick if players focus on the Harbinger and ignore other enemies.
