Romulan Tutorial Stuck - Delta Recruit

Hi guys. So I made a new Romulan delta recuit, I was having a lovely day on Virinat. I spoke to my future self and got the tesseract device, then jumped onto a another character. I have gone back and it says head to the festival but nothing is happening. I read somewhere about going back to the starting point, this hasn't worked. I have tried respawning and the unstuck thing - hasn't worked. I can't drop the mission and pick it up again. Does anyone know how to trigger the crappy festival?

I vaguely remember this happening in the past to me as well but can't remember off hand what fixed it.
What does your journal state is your next step? Are there any interaction options at the starting location where you come out of the house? Or can you go back and talk to Maiori Malem in the Market area? Any options to contact Tovan Khev between the two locations?

Too bad the Delta event has ended. If it wasn't I'd delete the character and start over making sure to click the go to festival button while you are in the house with your future self.

Thanks for coming back. Yes if it wasn;t for the recuit thing I would just delete and restart. I can see Tovan but can't speak to him, same as the Mairori. There are a few NPS ho can speak but they just have a speech bubble. The only person I can really talk to is the lore keeper, but it does nothing. I think there is supposed to be an interaction thing that just reads attend the festival (saw it on a Youtube video but it was an old video) but it isn't there. I don't think the attend the festival button is there when you are tlaking to yourself inside the building, it appears outside the house but it's gone.

Im going to try respawning at the house entrance. This is where it's supposed to happen after all.

Sorry I couldn't help you. And the saddest part, I doubt if you contacted Support they could help you either. There is a year old YouTube video by Ashkihyena titled Romulan Republic Deta Recruit - 1 that shows the "Go to Festival" interaction button inside the building with your future self. Too bad you can't get back inside there.

No Romulan, I don't think it makes any difference in cuasing he glitch.

Ok. The reason I asked is because many years ago during a Delta Recruit Event I created a Reman who got the Tesseract Device and then quit for the night. Got stuck at the same point you did, tried support and they wanted me to post here. At the time I was too frustrated and the steps were too complex for me to explain the bug. So I sadly deleted the character, created another Reman, got the device again, and finished all of the Romulan tutorial instead of stopping at that point. I wondered if the bug was species-specific instead of faction-specific.

I don't think it is species specific, the first time they re-ran the Delta recruitment people were talking about the bug since it happened back then too, and I think it might have happened in one or more of the other recruitments as well. The bug, when it happens, seems to be triggered by not finishing off the particular tutorial mission in which you get the recruitment device. You don't have to finish the whole tutorial arc in one sitting (for those which have a whole arc), just that one mission.

If you didn't leave the 'house' after talking to your future self, you're effectively stuck. (This is why it's important to finish the whole tutorial during the event.)
There's two possible solutions:

Delete the character and wait for the event to com around next year so you can make a new Delta Recruit; or
Wait until the event comes around next year when it should become possible to leave the 'house' and continue normally.

Thanks for all the input guys. Im not in the house, im outside. I don't "think" it says attend the festival (a named button appears) inside the house it happens outside. I'm outside but the attend the festival button/banner has gone. The only person I can really interact with is the lore keeper. I can tlak to others but they have a speech bubble appear, not a conversaton dialogue.

Maybe going back to the kelid cave and killing things could shake things free, but I doubt it. Going to the spaceport and looking for things along the way might do something too, though again that is not that likely. I don't think anyone has come up with a workaround that actually works, but trying things doesn't hurt and there is a slim chance of not having to wait around for next year's event, if you find something that actually works.

Yeah that's my thoughts too. I keep trying different things to trigger it, I tried the cave. I have heard from support who can't fix it, I might just have to accept and abandon. It's not like I wasted much time on the character, it's just slightly annoying the replacement won't be Delta. It's a shame as that is the only recuit type Romulans can be. Never mind lesson learned.

I'm having the same issue. Support told me to mention it here so that the developers fix it. I got the device, and left the house. I was at the beginning of the ground battle against the Elachi when I logged out. When I came back, I was sent "back in time" to before the festival. Stuck with no way to continue. Support said they couldn't help me. I think somehow my character's location save got corrupted. There's got to be a way to fix this... I created 27 delta recruits this past event, 4 of them where Romulan. Only one of them is bugged.

That is because games like this have "spawn points" at each section of a mission and if you log out before you hit the next spawn point you end up "back in time" at the last one you reached. Just to be safe it is best to at least get to the end of the mission in which you get the device (in this case it happens when you go to the flotilla, or thereabouts) because these modified tutorials are a bit finnicky.
