Legendary Bortasqu' Command Battlecruiser cannot use Command Consoles?

I have acquired the Legendary Bortasqu' Command Battlecruiser. I am attempting to equip the following consoles which provide a statement "Class Requirements not met."

Requirement: "Equippable on Command Battlecruisers and Command Warbirds."

Console - Universal - Defense Platform
Console - Universal - Tachyon Pulse Platform
Console - Universal - Fleet Support Platform

And why does the Bortasqu' not have a hangar like the other factional flagships?

There's a distinction to be made here:
The "Legendary Bortasqu' Command Battlecruiser" is a Battlecruiser with Command abilities, but it is not a "Command Battlecruiser".
Unfortunately, as words get added into ship names, this is leading to confusion with the ship names and consoles that have the same words but with different meanings.
These are the Command Battlecruisers - Eng / Tac / Sci.
Admittedly, the tooltips on quite a few consoles need updated or clarified and the way ships get worded needs a wee rethink to avoid this kind of confusion.

Are you sure about this claim?
Let's list all the T6 Flagships for the four factions and tick off which ones have a Hangar Bay:

I've omitted the Legendary versions as they're an unfair comparison and the Lexington was a modified design stolen from the Mirror Universe.
Thus, your claim that Flaghips have Hangars is only 40% correct. (If we include the T5 variants, this drops to 33⅓%.)

Oh and I was simply asked to post this here as it was a newly identified "BUG" as the CS stated. to draw a conversation. You stretch this from your perspective and maybe they can ignore it and not fix. I am sure that will be helpful to any consumer of this product. The tooltip and ship identification are clear. That does not need to be adjusted. The access to the console should be corrected though.

No, they are not. The Legendary Bortasqu' is not a "Command Battlecruiser" even though those two words are in the ship name.

To head this off in hopes for you to move along and allow for other consumers of this product and possibly a developer to review and post on a valid concern. Please review the comment from the GM below as to the request made by that individual is my reason for posting here.

Nope.
Follow the links I posted and you'll see the three Command Battlecruisers for each faction.
The Legendary Bortasqu' is a Battlecruiser with Command abilities, and even though its' name says 'Command Battlecruiser', it isn't actually a Command Battlecruiser. That two words appearing one after the other in the name of the ship doesn't make it one.
If it had Intelligence abilities, it would have been a "Intelligence Battlecruiser"

Another example of the naming convention causing confusion would be the "Constitution III Miracle Worker Cruiser" which despite the words in its' name is not a "Miracle Worker Cruiser". It's a Cruiser with Miracle Worker abilities, and cannot equip the Miracle Worker Cruiser console set.

Similarly, the "Shran Light Pilot Escort" isn't a Pilot Escort - it's an Escort with Pilot abilities and cannot equip the Pilot Escort console set.

The Legendary Bortasqu' cannot equip the Command Battlecruiser console set because it's a Battlecruiser with Command abilities, and not a Command Battlecruiser.

Thanks for posting the list of ships these consoles come with listed on Wiki. Though that does not limit the use of them to those ships. Unless you are a developer. Please refrain from over sharing your opinion on the matter and flooding this post. The Ship name can determine the classification of the ship as it has in the past. Though miss leading, this can be the tooltip on the console does state Command Battlecruiser, which indeed is in the name of the ship. Further more the Bortasqu' Heavy Battlecruiser and Odyssey Star Cruiser where launched and progressed through development equally until this Legendary launch which left the Bortasqu' lacking by comparison regarding the earlier comments about the hangar. Especially by comparison to Romulan release of the variations of Dreadnought Warbird. As each of these have progressed through development to the Legendary status. One dealing in opinions could state that the Legendary Scimitar Intel Dreadnought Warbird [T6] and Legendary Command Dreadnought Cruiser [T6] were released equal in functionality. Given the Dreadnought may or may not lead to the ship having a hangar!!! Taking the name in consideration. Now the release of the Legendary Bortasqu' Command Battlecruiser would align with a reasonable expectation of the functionality to server as a command battlecruiser and have the capability of using the command consoles baring the tooltip requirement of Command Battlecruiser.

In general, the text for what ship a console is allowed on has to be an EXACT match, not half a match. Those consoles have never been allowed on the Bortasqu' line of ships ONLY the 'Command Battlecruisers' and 'Command Warbirds', not 'Any Command Battlecruiser'. Just because the text on the console is a part match for the Legendary Bortasqu', doesn't not mean it is equippable on it and it certainly doesn't have Legendary listed on it. As I said, classifications are generally 'literal' (exact match).

This is has been explained many times. Sorry.

And as for a 'GM' saying it's a bug, they will always say to post here because they don't actually have anything to do with the game bar your actual account.

They really should change the names of those since dreadnnought cruisers are basically the same thing they're dreadnought cruisers in every way, shape, and form except name
