Nowadays we can create aliengen Remans and Hierarchy characters, but there are still canon species that cannot quite be reproduced via the tailor.

For a glorious moment we had Na'Kuhl skin in alien-gen. This was, however, before the Na'Kuhl showed up in STO. So the option was removed as an unintended spoiler and...never brought back (apart from the Foundry after I asked for it there). The skin worked great and is very low-hanging fruit for an alien-gen asset expansion. I'll also add that Solanae claws are also a thing (Zero gave them to the Foundry in her last asset splurge) and would be great for alien-gen (janky holding animations be damned).
But yeah to the general subject: more parts for alien-gen ranks highest on my list of updates to the tailor (beyond fixing residual clipping issues for the updated body models. Ex. back of the leg for Starfleet Academy skirt). Someday I'd like Cryptic to take another stab at making original species parts (perhaps easier than working out from canon species what to slice off, particularly with the more elaborate aliens in recent movies/shows) but anything at this point would be welcome to expand the canvas that is alien-gen.

We still occasionally get teased with a reptilian tail, too. The last time it showed up was on the same aliengen Fed Captain combat NPC who originally had it, shown as part of the entourage at the start of The Fujiwhara Effect.
