List of Abilities, Powers, Consoles, etc. that do not have an Auto-Execute Option on Xbox and PS

Hello Everyone,

Jonathan Herlache stated that he would work on getting auto-execute options for items missing in for Console players if we made him a list of what is needed. Please add whatever I have missed.

    Oh wow, yes! This would be a dream come true, getting some auto activations retroactively added to abilities that need it. When I get home I will go through and provide a list of kit modules that would really help me out with auto activations. Not all abilities can/should have auto though. Especially anything that has a toggle.
    Straight off the top of my head though:
    Universal Kit Module- Mudd's Time Device
    Universal Kit Module- Covert Assault Drone
    Universal Kit Module- Chain Conduit Capacitor (could also use a limit that prevents it being used on enemies outside of its 20m range)
    Kuumaarke Visionary Universal Kit Module- Micro-Generator Drone
    Kuumaarkey Visionary Set 3pc- Symphony of Lightning
    Universal Kit Module- Phasic Shroud

    I believe some things should just never be automated (e.g. Ramming Speed) as this automation could get quite out of hand.

    Saying that, there's skills I really would like to see have automation features for, and I see them in the list above. Thanks for putting this together.

  • I feel like the option "Whenever possible" should always be available at a minimum. That's no different than putting an ability on the spam bar for PC users.

    Some other things that would be really nice to have would be auto fire torpedos. Maybe double tap R1 to activate auto fire or even just a check box next to the auto attack options to include torpedos in the auto fire?

    Also, the auto trigger settings for console clickies wouldn't be nearly such a big deal if we could cycle wheel menus such that we didn't have to use tac abilities for the tac button or captain abilities for the captain ability button.

    So ideally, if we could hold down Circle to bring up the Tactical wheel menu, set all of those abilities to Auto, then cycle over to like the Devices wheel menu to set a Universal Console Ability to the Circle button then that would be amazing. Maybe we could hold down the button to pull up the wheel menu, then hit left or right on the D-pad or hit R3 without an ability selected to cycle to the next wheel menu. That way you could set all of your boff abilities to auto, then set all of your hotkeys to your different console clickies.

    But other than that, Emergency Power to Shields would be nice to have a setting for Whenever Possible to better work with traits and stuff that activate off of it. Consoles that build charges would be nice to have both "Whenever possible" and "When Fully Charged".

    Also, if you guys are digging around in the console settings could you add in a Chase cam mode for space and a Vanity camera mode for ground?

    Other than that, I just want to say thanks for taking a look at the console players' experience. Some times it's really easy to feel like we just get PC player's scraps.

    Computer Assisted Flight Algorithms (basically anything in a lockbox, If I am spending $$ on keys it should have an auto-execute option)
    Refracting Energy shunt
    Repulsor burst
    Micro-drone generator
    Sompek Lightning
    One-little ship

    What is everyone's thoughts on ground pets auto-executing? I would appreciate the option.

    I totally echo the sentiment that basically everything should have a "Whenever possible" option on console. Hopefully we get more and more existing content updated with auto executes over time. And maybe all future content could release with the option. Us console players really need this stuff.
  • Oh, and none of the singularity core abilities can be set to auto. Kind of makes people not want to use singularity cores because those abilities just never get used. "Whenever Possible", "At Maximun Charge", and either one based on remaining hull or target health depending on if it's a defensive or offensive capability would be great.

    The 41 abilities updated with auto executes in the recent update are really greatly appreciated! Cryptic are far better and more thoughtful devs than other games I've played. I will probably buy some keys or something soon to show my appreication.

    Thank you Jonathan and the Cryptic team for making all these changes! We really appreciate it and it makes a big difference for us! If possible, it would be great if you can continue to add more of these auto-execute abilities. Many folks are contributing to the google doc in this thread so you can see what does and doesn't have an auto-execute. Thanks again!
