Summer Kit issue.

I posted a ticket about this a while ago, since summer is here, give it some thought and if you agree, say so.

First, we all know how expensive things are in the summer event on Risa. In other words, if you purchase something, it had better be worth the effort.

Consider: Universal Kit Module - Tsunami Generator

This kit is woefully underpowered and overtimed. In my original ticket I gave some feedback and ideas. One being that its timer is far too high. 1 min 40 is far beyond too long especially for what it does. It should be 25 seconds max. More like 15 IMO. Another issue is that it is terribly underpowered. 100.7 physical 50% shield pen is nonsense. Most opponents shrug it off with hardly a scratch on them. That's including high Kit abilities and perks even on lower content like Sphere Battlezone. It must be totally useless to a newer player. It needs to be 300 physical damage at "least". It doesn't need to one-hit, it Does need to knock the heck out of the "group" yes grouped enemies. I say this because it fails to do this.

On that topic of group hit and behavior as intended, this Kit fails terribly. It will not knock "back" anyone (Almost) every time. It shouldn't knock back, for one thing; it should knock (DOWN). Unless you want to animate people carried away in the wave, it should knock (DOWN). And this should be high probability. Rarely does it hit more than one person (fail) no matter how they are grouped. The animation is bugged and will not even act like a wave wall or even the less "cone" 45 degree like space abilities. That's pretty shoddy.

The disables are pathetic. 25% Mechanical and Electrical? Nonsense. It should be 100% and they are down for 2+ seconds.

In my ticket I explained that look, I have spent a lot of time in the ocean. I respect it. I body surf. I've been doing it since I was 7 years old. Because of this, last year I was really looking forward to getting this Kit because I love and respect the ocean. I was terribly disappointed. Not only does it fail to work as intended but it's also so weak with a terrible cooldown that it's worthless and far from ocean reality. A wave is powerful. It can be fun until it is not. Then it can destroy a great deal. Consider the tragedy of the 2011 Tsunami of Tōhoku Japan. That is straight nightmare fuel devastation. Over 20,000 killed, many who were never found. Watch the videos! It doesn't "look" that bad until you realize, oh no, that water isn't stopping. It seems like it's moving slow, it is not. And Nothing prevailed against it. So, who built this Kit? Cause, it's pathetic. It does not respect the ocean or its power whatsoever.

Consider the cost/effort vs. something like Sabotage. The damage is almost OP for sabotage and how easy is it to get?!? That alone should compel naysayers' validity here as we are talking 1000 Lohlunat Favors for a garden hose spray, not a Tsunami.

Listen, an ocean wave, hitting with the force of a "tsunami", should knock (down) -Anyone- in its path and to respect the hurt or dead by such disasters, it should be fairly severe to enemies in this game. That includes all who are within the 10+ meter wide wave. Whereas the current wave with 3-5 enemies in it rarely get hurt and only "1" getting "nicked" as it engulfs and passes completely by them. It should also damage ALL electronics (mechanical and electrical) 100% proc with a fair timer as that's more real ask any flood victim. It should be reusable with a reasonable cooldown not over a minute and a half, that is bonkers!

Again, to emphasize, I dare you dear reader to go to the American northwest coast, turn your back to the ocean and get hit by a "sneaker wave" and realize just how fragile your life is. It is guaranteed that you will. That is no joke and neither are these types of waves. Recognize, the literal and documented danger of a "sneaker wave" and how many lives they claim per year. It's just a google search away. Yet, how weak such a wave is compared to a Tsunami-powered wave...

This Kit is total nonsense.

Nothin' Eh? I have the risian kit now maxed and pretty well set up, connected with endeavor for kits etc. This poor module still completely underperforms. Totally unacceptable. At the absolute Least it's time should be axed and set to a much smaller amount as listed above.

(Observed with: Mk XV Gold Tsunami Generator, Mk XV Gold Risian Kit "re-engineered", Commando, R&D 15 on Kits & Mods and Ground weapons, correct ground "skills", correct ground "traits" and lastly a rank 9 Endeavor for Kit Performance)

I watched a group of Terrans literally grouped together shrug off the Tsunami as if it were a simple summer breeze. Almost no damage to them. How unfortunate that this has so little attention.

Poor Universal Kit Module - Tsunami Generator. No one loves you but me.

I too have noticed that the Tsunami kit doesn't do as much damage as I hoped, and that the knockback hardly ever works.

I just hope that the whole "thread necromancy" doesn't apply to this sub-forum...
